2015 Global Leadership Conference – Savior of the World
The 2015 Global Leadership Conference (GLC) was held at the Anaheim Hilton on July 31st-August 2nd. This year’s theme was Savior of the World with an emphasis on the Book of John. Approximately 1,600 disciples attended the GLC. The fellowship with disciples from all around the world was incredible—from kingdom dates, quiet times, prayer walks and hanging out between sessions, the GLC gave disciples many opportunities to get to know our brothers and sisters from all nations. This year’s GLC was the first for many of the Santa Barbara disciples. A few of the disciples, who have been before, were reencouraged with strong faith to forcefully evangelize the city of Santa Barbara!

After Michelle’s first GLC, she is ready to preach the word to the Latin nation! Our sister Michelle Peralta gave her insight on what impacted her most at her first GLC. “The sermons that impacted me were the women’s session and the Latin festival.” Michelle’s favorite part of the GLC was learning from Jesus on how we can evangelize the world! She feels prepared with tools to take back to Santa Barbara, “We need to get into bible studies with people. This generation is in darkness and it’s up to disciples to continue working for Jesus.”

Dominic is ready to get back to Santa Barbara and work hard for the Lord! This also was our brother Dominic Sandoval first GLC. When asked what sermons made the most impact on him, Dominic said, “The men’s program when Kyle Bartholomew laid it out to the mighty men of God! Kyle spoke about how the growth of the church starts with bible talks and bible studies. If we aren’t doing these basic steps, our church won’t grow.” One of the main tools Dominic learned was, “The willingness to be consistent with the work I do for God. The only bad work that can be done is no work at all! God is calling us to do the work whether I feel like it or not.”

This was Corinna’s third GLC! She’s ready to use her talent of dance for God’s kingdom! The GLC provided multiple social events for disciples such as the talent show, pure dance and ice cream social. Our sister and women’s ministry leader Corinna Sloan, gave her perspective on the talent show and pure dance. “The talent show and the pure dance are my favorite parts of the GLC! Seeing the incredible talent of my brothers and sisters—in music, song, dance, theater and poetry—and how they choose to use it to glorify God is so inspiring! I know these people can change the world with their God-given talents,” said Corinna. When asked about her thoughts on the pure dance, Corinna said, “It’s the best party I’ve ever been to. We all leave super sweaty from all the dancing! The amazing thing is it’s with absolute purity. I’m already pumped for next year!”
We closed out the GLC with an awesome four-hour church service that ended with 17 baptisms! It was a bad day for the Devil! We are excited to have new brothers and sisters in the kingdom of God from all over the world. What an amazing family to be a part of! The Santa Barbara disciples learned many valuable lessons at the GLC and are ready to continue to God’s work in evangelizing Santa Barbara. Santa Barbara International Christian Church can’t wait for the GLC next year with even more disciples! We are family till the end!

Good News & Important Updates For the GLC
Greetings from Los Angeles! “Like cold water to a weary soul is good news from a distant land.” (Proverbs 25:25) We are excited to announce that on July 31 through August 2, 2015, we will be hosting another historic Livestream Event: The 2015 Global Leadership Conference! The schedule will begin at 9AM (Pacific Coast Time) on Friday, July 31st with the exciting opening video for the 2015 GLC! Indeed Friday and Saturday will be filled with incredible messages and miracles!

The 2015 GLC – SAVIOR OF THE WORLD – is just 11 days away!Of special note for the Saturday Evening Session will be MERCY Night! Not only will Nick & Denise Bordieri – our new fulltime Directors of MERCYworldwide – give an exciting overview of MERCY’s extraordinary global efforts, but we are asking every disciple that is a GLC participant to wear their green MERCY t-shirt! This will remind us not only that every disciple in the SoldOut Movement is a MERCY Ambassador, but it will help us all to envision our unique “unity” as God’s movement! (John 17:17-20)

Every SoldOut Movement Disciple is a MERCY Ambassador! On Saturday night every GLC participant will wear their green MERCY t-shirts as a sign of unity among the churches!
Another highlight of the entire weekend will be the Sunday Worship Service where we will witness the Third Annual Commencement of the International College of Christian Ministries, Tim Kernan’s closing sermon – Do You Truly Love Me, and the send-off of the Sacramento and Stockholm Mission Teams! Joining us at the Anaheim Hilton Hotel will be our sister churches in Las Vegas, Phoenix, San Diego, San Francisco and Santa Barbara!
On Sunday as well will be the Kingdom Appointments of Rebecca Rico – Valedictorian of the ICCM Class of 2015 – and Amadou & Angele Sountoura, the Lead Ministry Couple for the newly planted Abidjan (Ivory Coast) International Christian Church! (At the Abidjan Inaugural Service – just this past Sunday, July 19th – 116 disciples had 303 in attendance!)

At the 2014 GLC there were just under 2,000 for the Sunday Worship Service! In 2015 even more will be gathered to embrace the vision to evangelize the nations in this generation!

Good News Email – July 6, 2015
Greetings from Manila, Sydney, Abidjan and Los Angeles! Elena & I arrived in the Philippines on Thursday night June 4th to help with all the preparations for the Inaugural Service of the Metro Manila International Christian Church (MMICC)! For the next three days we could not help but reminisce about bringing the original Manila Mission Team of 26 disciples in 1989! With joy we remembered that God provided the Makati Intercontinental Hotel as the cheapest venue! At that incredible service in 1989, God gave us an amazing attendance of 260! On this historic Sunday of June 7th, the 49 disciples of the Manila Remnant Group joined the nine disciples on the Manila Mission Team from LA at the same hotel in the same room, and God blessed the Inaugural Service of the MMICC with 306 in attendance!






306 attend the MMICC Inaugural Service!To prepare for the Inaugural, we celebrated the Day of MERCY one week early on June 6th! The MMICC served the children of one of the more impoverished neighborhoods of Metro Manila called Payatas. Payatas is the home of 5,000 poor families who make $1 a day scavenging the dump-site for scraps of plastic, metal, paper and glass to sell to junk shops that surround Payatas. Here songs and food were shared with the very grateful children! As well, over 200 pairs of flip flops were given out!

Inaugural Service!On Tuesday, June 16th, Elena & I continued on our missionary journey and landed early in the morning in Sydney, Australia! Joe & Kerry Willis have done an outstanding job leading this now one year old church in this very atheistic country.
The McKeans’ first night in Sydney was spent

Ally and Luke!Yet, this second year, the Sydney Church has not seen the forceful advancement for which they had dreamed and prayed. For the next few days, we spent time with the leaders listening to their perspectives, studying the Scriptures and praying.

The success of the Women’s Day breathed
faith into the entire Sydney Church!With this great attendance, the entire church believed again that “the fields are ripe for harvest!” (John 4:35) This Sunday, another awesome Chinese college student was baptized into Christ continuing to build the Hong Kong Mission Team!I flew back with Elena to LA on Sunday, June 21st and met that evening with Tim & Lianne Kernan – who did a marvelous job leading LA in our absence – and the LA Shepherding Couples: Nick & Denise Bordieri and Tony & Therese Untalan to catch up on how the City of Angels Church was doing! A glowing report was given!The next morning, I was off to Abidjan, Ivory Coast for the First African Missions Conference (AMC)! After four plane flights, I arrived at about 10PM on Tuesday night and received one of the warmest welcomes imaginable! Not only did the 75 disciples at the airport sing in French We Love You With The Love Of The Lord, but then I was ushered outside where I was presented with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers!

What a welcome!Then to the beat of African drums, the Abidjan disciples spread a beautiful blanket on the ground and one by one different disciples danced on it for me as my formal welcome! Then Blaise Feumba whispered in my ear, “Bro, get ready because they would like to have you dance for them!” Andrew Smellie must have seen my facial expression, and encouragingly said, “Bro, just take my hand and follow my lead and I’ll help you out with the rhythm!” So Andrew and I danced for the Abidjan Church!
Micky and Kip meet for the first time!In many respects, the AMC began in earnest the next day! I was blessed to have a brother and preacher from the Mainline Church of Christ in Nigeria – Benedict Atason – come from contact on Facebook! After three days of Bible study and discussions about the differences between the International Christian Churches and the Mainline Church of Christ, Benedict wholeheartedly decided to join God’s new movement and to bring those he influences in Lagos with him!

Leaders Workshop!On Saturday, we had Men and Women Sessions in the morning. Then in the afternoon, we participated in a very moving MERCY Event of feeding the starving children in the heart of Abidjan!

to feed the children of Abidjan!Saturday night a Great Banquet was held at Paul & Odile Bekoin’s house! An incredible feast was prepared which included such delicacies as fish heads and giant snails!

Saturday Night Banquet at their home!On the Sunday morning of the African Missions Conference, gathered with the 200 disciples from Ivory Coast were a total of 26 other disciples from the Democratic Republic of Congo, South Africa, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Sierra Leone, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria, France, England and the United States! We had an amazing attendance of 498 with 12 baptisms and the restoration of Lyly Ngungu – the awesome wife of Micky Ngungu!

of Africa!With so many remnant disciples in Africa joining the new movement, I am reminded of God’s words in Jeremiah 23:3-4, “I myself will gather the remnant of my flock out of all the countries where I have driven them and will bring them back to their pasture, where they will be fruitful and increase in number. I will place shepherds over them [so] they will no longer be afraid, nor will any be missing!”I began to fly home that night… and after five flights arrived in Los Angeles late on Monday night tired but totally in awe of God and His forcefully advancing movement!For the City of Angels Church, the months of May and June have been times of leadership transitions! The Spirit has sent out incredible leaders from LA: Kyle & Joan Bartholomew, Marc & Maika Carbonell, Zach Shields, RJ Castro, Johnny Cortez and Ariel Butler to Manila; Cesar & Debbie Limon and Fernando & Jackie Chavez to Portland; Anthony & Cassidy Olmos to London; Jake & Jen Ramsier and Curt & Morgan Valdez to Honolulu; Princeton & Joy George to San Diego; and Dennis & Corrina Sloan to Santa Barbara! In total so far in 2015, exactly 40 disciples have been sent out to strengthen and plant churches!

church in Sunny San Diego!During this same two month span, we have welcomed several new leaders to our church family: Tim & Lianne Kernan from Toronto, Ricky & Coleen Challinor from Portland, Evan & Kelly Bartholomew from San Diego, Ron & Tracy Harding from Washington DC, Nick & Jackie Economo from Chicago, Rich & Angie Tabizon from Manila, Preston & Shawna Inkley from Boston, and Lou Jack & Cathi Martinez from Honolulu – who baptized their daughter Christine on July 4th!

So please register today and pray for this life-changing conference!NEWS FLASH – Nick Bordieri: “You’re So Special!” – The Seventh Annual International Day of MERCY! “The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.” (Galatians 5:6) Everyone needs that special touch of Jesus, and this is especially true for the poor and needy around the world!I was so encouraged to receive the good news to hear about how each of you, MERCY Ambassadors, expressed your faith through love by touching the lives of those less fortunate across the globe from the Annual MERCY Community Day Fair in Hilo; to serving orphans in Santiago, Sao Paulo, Haiti and Phoenix; to community beautification projects in Chennai, San Francisco and Boston; to restoration projects in NYC; to youth education programs in Dallas, Syracuse and Washington DC; to serving those with disabilities in Chicago and Moscow; and to encouraging the elderly in Brazil and Houston; and feeding the poor in Abidjan and Manila!

to families in need!For the International Day of MERCY in Los Angeles over 600 MERCY Ambassadors divided up into five super regions, and were provided the basics of disaster and emergency preparedness by the American Red Cross. The question is not if something happens, but when! By being prepared for what to do in a natural disaster or emergency situations, like fires, car accidents, shooting incidents and terrorist acts, we become part of the solution rather than victims that need special attention. Echoing the Red Cross’ slogan for disaster and emergency preparedness, “The worst disaster is not being prepared!”
In LA, the MERCY Ambassadors were readied
by the Red Cross for “when” disaster strikes!The impact on the lives of so many around the world during the International Day of MERCY 2015 can be summed up by the three words in a card written by one of our youngsters to encourage the homeless in London: “You are special!”I’ll close with a quote from Trina Strand, the Director of Janus Youth – a transitional housing program for homeless youth in Portland, “These kids get forgotten by everyone else, and the fact that you guys are here helping shows them that they matter!”

We blew out Special Missions with over 104% of our goal! God also blessed us with five additions in the month of June! We are so grateful for the efforts and creativity of our AMS House Church Leaders, Josiah & Kristin Smith! They planned the “So You Think You Have Talent” Event this year and rallied many in the church around this amazing production! Some very talented artists performed and were reached-out to as well as over $5,000 profit was raised for missions!

She’s been attending church for almost a year and her oldest teenage daughter Jazylyn is now studying the Bible! Next, God brought us “triplets” on Father’s Day! He added a college student named Cisco, a single brother named Darryl, and the physical sister to our campus ministry women’s leader Brittany Bulerin – Deliisa! It is totally inspiring to see God change Deliisa’s heart from persecuting her sister to now living as a joyful and faithful disciple!

Now after having an awesome and productive year, they are being sent to Orlando as potential members of the Miami Mission Team to continue their training under our dear friends Matt & Helen Sullivan! I am super proud of my daughter and my son in the faith and even though it is very painful to separate from them, my wife Sonia & I understand that this is the price to evangelize the world!

Satan is working to numb out people from reality but thankfully God and His church are working here to do just the opposite as this past month we held the first Portland – ICCM Session, hosted five MERCY Events, and wewitnessed nine added to the Portland family – three baptisms, three restorations and three place memberships!First to be baptized was Megan from the Singles Ministry; then Mercedes from the Latin Ministry; and lastly, Arrow at today’s service!

Arrow had a prayer Monday morning to find people to study the Bible with and about four hours later he met Jorge Castillo at PSU! Fascinatingly, that same morning Jorge had prayed a specific prayer for God to add more “arrows” to his quiver (Psalm 127:3-5)… Who would have thought that God would not just give him a great PSU student but that his name would literally be “Arrow!”Baptisms are incredible, but equally awesome are restorations and this week Whitney Santos-DiLoreto, a very dear sister to many in the Kingdom, was restored to the Lord! She also gave birth this past week to her new baby boy, Noah!

The Toronto MERCY Ambassadors!Jason Dimitry of San Francisco: “So the Word of God spread. The number of disciples in Jerusalem increased rapidly!” (Acts 6:7) June has been a month of incredible victories here in the Bay! We have seen the number of disciples increase by six giving us 106 sold-out disciples in the San Francisco Bay Church!
The SF Sisters adore their baby sister Rachel!We were all truly blown away on Father’s Day when we took up our Special Missions Contribution collecting 144% of our Movement Goal! This abundance gives us the means to now see “the Word of God spread” to Sacramento, which means from a Pauline perspective California has been evangelized!It was so inspiring last week to “spy out the land” with the Beases! Jacob & Courtney have so much vision for California’s capital city! Another highlight was seeing the beautiful wedding of Elliot & Camille Svenkeson!

We are thrilled to report incredible news from the “spying out the land” trip we took with the Dimitrys on June 22-24th! It was both a faith-building and humbling time to visit the Capital of California and to realize that God has already given this incredible city to us! We made a special point of visiting the four largest campuses praying at each one for many souls to be saved there! Then we claimed the land by stomping our feet in unison!We were also able to take the majority of our mission team the following weekend for a day trip, imitating the faith-building time we had with the Dimitrys!
The Sensational Sacramento Mission Team!We are eternally grateful for our amazing leaders, Jason & Sarah, who took us under their wings and have invested so much to get us ready for this mission! Can’t wait to be sent out at the GLC! We have been in the race to win souls not only spiritually but physically as well! Our Annual 5K Run For Missions is a fundraiser for our Special Missions Contribution to support God’s work around the world. We run the race and then have church in the park!
Gainesville’s Annual 5K Run For Missions!Congratulations to Jason (University of Florida baseball player and disciple!) who won the event this year! It was coordinated by our brother Brady Vaughn with this year’s theme being the Fire & Ice: Water Run!
Jason wins the prize “that will not last!”We added a “slip and slide” in the middle of the race and at the finish line with participants being sprayed with water guns and possibly hit by water balloons! God helped us the following week to blow out our 25X Special Missions Goal by raising over $36,000!

On June 24th after Men’s Midweek, we saw an incredible University of Florida student named Evenson baptized into Christ and then today we were able to witness an amazing young woman named Kelsey make Jesus Lord by entering the waters of baptism!

We came back with a vision of an AMS Ministry and had our first ever AMS Life Group (Bible Talk) with five visitors at a coffee shop that was hosting an Open Mic Night! Please pray for our Bring Your Neighbor Day this Sunday! We look forward to seeing you at the GLC and to God be all the glory!Tyler Sears: Greetings and “Howdy Y’all” from Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW)! The last couple weeks have been encouraging as the Lord added three to our number – one baptism and two restorations! Several weeks ago Sarah was baptized into Christ after meeting Jodwin at his job. She was doing an internship and was impacted by Jodwin’s boldness and his life!Also, Anthony & Kayla Clark were restored last week! After moving to DFW from Tulsa, Oklahoma for the sake of being in a SoldOut Movement Church, they shared how their sins had taken them out of the Kingdom but rejoiced at the chance to do it “God’s way” again! Shay & I were personally inspired as they were an answered prayer!

We committed to the needs of the movement months ago to give $38,000 for Special Missions and to give again in November… but wanted to give all at once so our goal June 15th was $50,000! We then set a faith goal of $65,000! God did the impossible and blessed us with $76,106!Another financial miracle was seeing God answer our prayer to have Adrian Jimenez come on Staff! So we prayed and his family committed to supporting him for a year full-time by giving his intern salary directly to the church! Also a joy to the entire congregation is our newest dating couple – Adrian Jimenez & Kacie Fligor!

And to God be the glory!HEADLINE NEWS – EUROPEMichael Williamson: Greetings from London England! Amidst historic warm weather here in the UK, it’s been a joy watching the Holy Spirit move through the London International Christian Church! God has blessed the church with eight additions and a new dating couple in the past five weeks! It was awesome to see two siblings come to the Lord; Jeanette Yeboha’s brother Ridge was the first to be baptized; then Kenny Giwa’s brother and semi-pro footballer (soccer player) Sadique was baptized a week later! The Kingdom unifying families is what it’s all about!

a purpose beyond “football!”The following week Sadique was determined to convert his best friend Michael who is actually just as talented on the football pitch! God blessed his prayers as Michael was added just a week later!We then baptized an incredible young Hungarian woman named Eni (Annie) who’s gentle and quiet spirit refreshed the saints! Eni’s story is amazing as she was baptized into the Golders Green Bible Talk after her cousin, who stopped studying the Bible, gave her a share card and said that Eni would find the studies helpful!

Anthony has already been dubbed “Instant Impact Anthony,” accompanied with his amazing wife “Kind Cassidy!” We are so honored to work side-by-side with this amazing couple building Europe for God’s glory! Thank you LA, and all who have poured their hearts into this amazing young couple!

Can’t wait to see you in a few weeks at the GLC!HEADLINE NEWS – RUSSIAN COMMONWEALTHElena Sirotkina: Greetings from the Moscow, Russia and the Kiev, Ukraine Churches! This past month in Moscow started out great as we had the encouraging visit of Luke &BrandynSpeckman fresh from their missionary trip to Chennai, India!With this boost in June, the Moscow and Kiev Churches added 11 new brothers and sisters by baptism! Our two great and faithful brothers from Congo – who were baptized less than two months ago – shared their faith with students in the People’s Friendship University of Russia. And so at the beginning of June, Stephen from Cameroon and Zhan-Pol from Congo were baptized!The next Sunday, we had an amazing International Service where everyone came in costumes representative of their nationalities! It’s was funny, colorful and most importantly a fruitful service, where we witnessed four baptisms – two men and two women!

This Thursday, we had the baptism of Timur from Kalmykia (Muslim Republic) from the Bible Talk of Timur & Vika Butakov! Now we have two brothers and a sister from this country! So pray for the mission team that God is forming for this great nation!

Kalmykia is in red!Another great news is from our dear church in Kiev, Ukraine! One year ago our daughter Sofiia was baptized into Christ! After one month, we were able to visit Ukraine and encourage our church there. On Sunday service, Sofiia met her friend Irina from Kids Kingdom! Irina, was very humble to ask Sofiia to study the Bible with her. Sofiia felt privileged to do it and after some time Irina was baptized!Irina, who is 15 years old, prayed to be fruitful, and two months ago she shared her faith on campus and invited Ludmila, who started to study the Bible! Ludmila shared her faith with her roommate Alina and both of them decided to become disciples and were baptized! Then Alina asked her classmate Masha to help with preparation for an exam. Masha was kind and came to help, but Alina thought that she doesn’t have the money to pay Masha… Then she realized that she had a lot more than money – her faith and a little knowledge of the Bible! Masha was atheist, but because of Alina’s teaching from the Bible, she was interested to go to service. Last Sunday, we were able to see this miracle of faith as Masha was baptized!

Over 110 photographs from across Russia were displayed. This momentous event was attended not only by the public but also government delegates, sponsors and founders of philanthropic foundations!

In a time where the countries of Russia and Ukraine have a very tense relationship, it great to see that in the Kingdom there is nothing but peace and love! To Him be the glory!HEADLINE NEWS – AFRICAAndrew Smellie: To my African Brothers and Sisters: “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!” (Psalm 133:1) I thank God for the opportunity to have met all you at the First African Missions Conference of God’s new movement! It was a privilege to worship side-by-side with you as we prayed for God to gather His remnant from the farthest horizon! (Nehemiah 1:8-9)

Pray for the “reconstruction” of the Abidjan and Korezouzoua, Ivory Coast Remnant Groups (numbering about 140 and 60 respectively), where each member will “count the cost” to be added to the official membership list! We are family…to the end!HEADLINE NEWS – CENTRAL & SOUTH AMERICAAlfredo Anuch: Greetings from Santiago de Chile! Although the past few weeks have been extremely cold here (it’s winter in the Southern Hemisphere!), the church has been completely on fire!!! In the last five weeks, God has blessed us with eight additions!Ramón, the father of our young disciples Gonzalo and Paulina, came to visit and when he realized the changes in his children, he decided to study the Bible… In less than two weeks, Ramón was baptized! His words were, “Finally, after so many, many years, I’ve found the church of God!”

Onésimo, having studied theology and with an ample knowledge of the Scriptures, and Jolymar, a journalist by profession, became like children to receive the message and thus be born again!

by Onésimo’s & Jolymar’s baptisms!Equally encouraging, Jorge was baptized in the ICOC in 1990 which was the year that the church here in Santiago was planted! He was a faithful disciple up to 1996… After 19 years of being lost, José Andrés, our Shepherd-in-training, had Jorge on his heart. So José Andrés contacted him, talked about the Lord, and the new movement! Jorge was so excited that after a month of studying and repenting, he was restored!

First Sandra was baptized who is doing her doctorate in Statistics! Then Rafael was baptized, who is in his first year doing Engineering! As well this past month, two amazing single women were baptized! Their names are Giovanna and Amanda! God has been very good to us! We love you with the love of the Lord!

So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.” (John 3:8) Greetings from the SoldOut Movement disciples in Mexico City and a very Happy Fourth of July to all of our American brothers and sisters!The month of June brought with it the spiritual winds of change with the bulk of the Supplemental Mission Team from Santiago arriving in June. Although change can be challenging (especially when moving from country to country) these 12 gallant disciples have given up every comfort for the cause of Jesus and have already strengthened the church here in immeasurable ways! We are all eager and excited to build a pillar church for all of Mexico and Central America!

Team from Santiago!Amidst all of the transitions, God has not ceased to add to our number through baptisms and several restorations! Noteworthy was the restoration of a very dynamic “veteran” couple, Hugo & Adriana Barcelo who came directly from our former fellowship seeking revival! After coming out to service to see a longtime friend Jose Luis Cruz be restored, they immediately recognized that this was the “church that they were baptized into!” As they traversed through the Bible studies, skillfully led by Jose & Daniela Otero, the Barcelos were asked how they felt about placing membership, to which they emphatically responded, “WE NEED TO BE RESTORED!” Many tears were shed as they shared at their restoration!

by the humility of the Barcelos!And so all of us, together with the angels in Heaven, rejoiced in the fact that the Lord is gathering His remnant! And to Him be all the glory!HEADLINE NEWS – PACIFIC RIM & AUSTRAL-CHINAKyle Bartholomew: “The Word of God continued to increase and spread!” (Acts 12:24) In early May, the Manila Mission Teamwas sent out from the City of Angels Church! Upon landing there was so much to do, but the Manila Remnant Group and especially Rich & AngieTabizon made it a very smooth landing!On June 7, 2015 was our Inaugural Service where 49 disciples from the Remnant Group and nine from the Mission Team saw God bring 306 and one baptism and two restorations! There were so many open people and remnant disciples! We so appreciate Joe & Kerry Willis, Michael & Sharon Kirchner, Kirk & Margie Hamula, and especially Kip & Elena helping with all the visitors that day!

Other highlights that day included two more baptisms and the placing of membership by the Castros! They brought their four daughters, and at their time of sharing before the congregation, Simple in tears and holding up a very weathered Bible said, “For 14 years my life has been Hell! Though I have never missed church, when the former fellowship abandoned discipling and accountability, to my shame, I went back to my old sins even worse than before!”

If we could explain the love and joy that have been bred into the disciples by the Lord’s triumphant and gracious victories, it would be best depicted in Psalm 96:11, “Let the Heavens REJOICE, let the earth BE GLAD; let the sea RESOUND, and ALL that is in it!”First off, on the 20th of June this year, God blessed the church with such inspiration through a gorgeous and spectacular Women’s Day! What a “faith-increasing” moment it was as the 13 sisters stepped up to the plate and were therefore blessed with an amazing total of 21 friends and family present! With the beautiful theme LET IT GO, the Spirit truly led the event to deeply impact everyone’s hearts! From vibrant sea-blue colors in flowers and decor, to heart-wrenching testimonies of young and tender-hearted Christians, to an outstanding powerful skit creatively pieced together, and to finally, the courageous barrier-breaking speech brilliantly done by Elena McKean, so many friends and family eagerly signed up to return for either Bible studies or to be part of Bible discussions!
The incredible Sydney Women’s Day!In addition to God’s generosity and plan to encourage us with Kip & Elena visiting, at our church’s MERCY Event, we cleaned up a common beach area at Neutral Bay by taking away glass, drug needles, etc! A local resident took notice of the significant efforts made by the disciples who served wholeheartedly that day! This kind gentleman saw it in his heart to thank the Sydney International Church with a donation to Special (in a time of such need) totaling $200!


The Sydney MERCY Ambassadors!Since Kip & Elena’s visit, with renewed vision and direction, we have seen a dramatic change in forceful advancement, starting with the baptism of our new Christian brother Calvin Shuen, an Australian national from Hong Kong studying at Macquarie University! This baptism is doubly special as he is the younger brother of our sister Themis, who had been praying to see her brother become a Christian this year as part of her “2015 impossible prayers!”

Chris Broom of New York City: Greetings from “The City That Never Sleeps!” The disciples here have been working tirelessly to fund-raise for World Missions and now, the Global Leadership Conference! With a Missions Contribution goal of $148,000, the 136 disciples of NYC gave $156,905! Amen!
Then, in the spirit of missions, on Sunday June 28th, we bid farewell to some incredible disciples! First, we sent-off some of my dearest friends, Juan Carlos Garcia, his wife Betty, his daughter Samantha, and his mother Blanca to be with the Portland Church. Juan Carlos has been very ill for many years, is still in need of a kidney transplant, and is on dialysis every day. Despite all this, he has fought valiantly to build Spanish Ministries in all the churches that he has been a part of, and now as he returns to the Portland Church, we pray that he will be able to regain his health and be a powerful part of the Spanish Ministry there!

His Biblically inspired work HOME is an incredible performance that involved praise, hip hop, African, contemporary and interpretive dancing, hymns and sermons! When asked by the announcer what HOME was about Ernest said, “The journey from dark to light!” To God be the glory!

Joel overlooking Abidjan!About nine months ago, Akilah was reached out to on campus by Miriam and Gina. She studied the Bible and almost got baptized but then walked away. The women stayed in contact with her and through their persistence and many prayers, Akilah was inspired to come back to church! She studied the Bible for a few more months and finally surrendered everything over to God! When it was time to answer the questions at baptism she quickly said, “Jesus is Lord! Let’s go!” She could not get into the waters of baptism quick enough!

Pray as Ted Karonis may become the Camp Director for “Camp Free” and would provide a way to help so many poor children throughout the North Shore!

Raja, my awesome husband, has deep convictions that in order to evangelize India and the surrounding nations, every disciple needs to know a minimum of three languages: English, Hindi and the local language of the state! So the Chennai disciples have started taking Hindi classes!
The Chennai International Christian Church!Excitingly, Philip, a Pentecostal Pastor who was baptized in Chennai, went back to his hometown in Raipur and started preaching about his transformation and God’s new movement! To assist him, we sent Roger, Yassa, Parthiban and Amanda to study the Bible with his congregation! Bad weather, poor living conditions, different food habits – nothing could stop these valiant disciples from baptizing those who were willing!So amazing, Anil, who was leading three churches, studied the Bible and went back to his churches and told them that “he is not a ‘true Christian’ so they too are not ‘true Christians!’” Then he too came to Chennai and was baptized!

Greetings from Los Angeles! As reported in the last Good New Email on May 3rd, the month of May started extraordinarily for the City of Angels International Christian Church (CAICC)! On Friday night May 1st, we met together for the CAICC Basketball League Championship! Then on Sunday morning May 3rd, the congregation again met together for the glorious Manila Mission Team Send-Off Worship Service!

Group with a “slaughtered pig!”Since the departure of the Metro Manila Mission Team, the City of Angels Church has migrated to three Super Regions (composed of four regions each) which cover the vast five county area of Los Angeles where almost 20 million people live! So for our Tuesday, May 5th Staff Meeting, Elena & I met with the 12 Region Leader Brothers and Sisters on top of Mount Shalom (Mt. Hollywood) from which much of the Los Angeles area can be inspirationally viewed!After a time of worshipful singing, the three new Super Region Leaders preached Jesus’ vision from Acts 1:8, “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in JERUSALEM, and in all JUDEA AND SAMARIA; and to THE ENDS OF THE EARTH!” Since Tim Kernan will be leading the LA Church by next summer, he eloquently preached on JERUSALEM; Cory Blackwell, having deep convictions from all his years of raising funds for Missions Contributions, challenged us with the message – JUDEA AND SAMARIA; and Andrew Smellie, soon to be leading the Africa Missions Conference, delivered the inspiring close-out message – THE ENDS OF THE EARTH! Afterward, the brothers prayed in one group and the sisters in their group!

bright in a world full of divorce!Sunday, May 31st concluded almost five months of efforts to achieve our 20X Missions Contribution! Every member was striving to personally raise at least 20X their weekly pledge from the world or by personal sacrifice. From my perspective, this particular Missions Contribution was one of our most difficult because of all the transitions in our congregation for missions, which included five Regional Leader changes and 49 disciples sent to the mission field! So with a goal of $568,000, God blessed the CAICC with $580,200! Even in the midst of all the multitudinous transitions and monumental efforts to secure our Missions Contribution, in the first 151 days of 2015 the Lord has added to our number 196 souls – 157 baptisms, 19 restorations and 20 place memberships! And to God be all the glory!NEWS FLASH: The inspirational theme of the 2015 Global Leadership Conference (GLC) is SAVIOR OF THE WORLD! After seeing San Andreas, the Hollywood blockbuster movie that depicts powerful earthquakes running along the San Andreas fault from LA to San Francisco, I began to fully realized the importance of “being prepared!” Let us all remember to devote Friday, June 12, to fasting and prayer for the poor and needy around the world. Krystal Legarda: Warm greetings from beautiful Orange County! It was a bittersweet time for our region as we sent-off the San Diego Supplemental Mission Team! Although many tears were shed, there was much rejoicing as we “tore ourselves away from them.” (Acts 21:1) We have full confidence that God will use them in great ways in San Diego as they are truly many of our very best!
In the midst of all the transition, God added two to our Campus Ministry! Samantha, a psychology student at Cal State Fullerton was added through baptism!

for godly theology!As well, Karyn Bowman shared powerfully in tears of how far her heart had drifted from God in the past year. Although still attending church, she lived a deceitful life in deep darkness. God transformed her by “removing her heart of stone and giving her a heart of flesh,” as well as an overwhelming desire to live in the light! (Ezekiel 36:26) It was incredible to see Karyn restored to God’s Kingdom!

He has served humbly and powerfully since its start in 2011! We will miss him dearly, however we are even more excited to witness the amazing things he will do for God in Portland as a Singles Leader and Song Leader!

India has been around our fellowship for a number of years and has finally found her place in God’s Kingdom, a dream come true for Jasmine!

Janae realized quickly her need to be right with God and was baptized nearly overnight! Last but not least, we welcomed another sister, Destiny Pickett, whose incredible perseverance finally helped reconcile her heart to our Savior!
Destiny fulfills “God’s destiny” for her life!As we reflect on the past month, we praise God that He allowed Southland to blow out our missions collecting nearly $70,000 to help save souls around the world! We truly are family to the end!Kevin Hetrick: “Sow your seed in the morning, and at evening let your hands not be idle, for you do not know which will succeed, whether this or that, or whether both will do equally well.” (Ecclesiastes 11:6) The Lord God has privileged the North Region this May with victories which have been sought through prayer and diligent sowing in all areas of life! Seeing that a miracle was needed to reach our 20X Missions Goal, our whole region decided to climb to the mountain top in Santa Clarita and beg God, like the prophets of old, to make our hopes a reality! Finally, the Lord’s grace was extended as Ruth Libsework was restored today to her “first love!” Having her back in the fellowship is such a blessing as she brings with her a great skill set, and more importantly, a newfound humility toward God’s Kingdom!Ryan Keenan: Greetings from the Ventura Region Family! Interestingly, “Ventura” means good fortune and the month of May was no exception! Earlier in the month, Myra Hernandez, the mother of disciples Alex Hernandez and Anthony Zarate, became our newest “sister” in Christ! In her moving testimony, she shared how inspired she was by both of her sons’ godly examples!

Shima’s story is inspiring because being deeply rooted in the Muslim religion she almost stopped studying the Bible because of strong persecution from her family! But holding true to John 8:31-32 she made the decision to live out the Scriptures and allow God to set her free! Because of her strong convictions, she has been disowned by her family but holds to the precious gift of being adopted into God’s family and given spiritual parents and siblings in the faith!

We were blessed with speakers from Orange County – Sandra Zepeda and Lenny Garcia – and from Palm Springs – Patricia Velasco!

Now we are looking forward to our next Men and Women’s Latin’s Devotional on July 11th! ¡A Dios sea la gloria!Sal Velasco: Greetings from Palm Springs! It has been so exciting to see our God work through the amazing hearts of a young passionate and growing ministry of 34 here in the Palm Springs Region! We prayed and fasted and God blessed us as we surpassed our Special Missions Goal of $10,860 by $5,271!
The week after the special, a young college student at COD by the name of John was met by three different disciples in two very distinct occasions and locations! Our dynamic campus leader Alfredo Lopez met John on campus and invited him to church at the school! A short time later, a couple of brothers from our Marrieds Ministry, Daniel Lowe and Robert Kryler, were on the bus and they saw John reading his Bible. They shared their faith with him and later found out that he literally lives across the street from our brother Robert Kryler! God totally had John’s number, and John does actually have a number since he is the second string quarterback on the COD football team!
John had such a pure and eager heart for God that he diligently studied the Bible for a few short weeks, and then at our Tri-Regional Church Service in Riverside, John powerfully shared his convictions before getting baptized!

Heaven is going to be!God is truly blessing the faith and heart of the disciples out here in the desert where there is “living water!” And to God be all the glory!Andrew Smellie: Greetings from the “Wild West” Region of the City of Angels Church! Today we had a Day of Celebration with food, fun and great fellowship in the park! Despite seemingly overwhelming challenges, our 67 disciples gave $94,517 for Missions – surpassing our goal by almost $4,000! To meet such a lofty sum, we started our First Annual “Pier to Pier” Run for Missions (from Santa Monica Pier to Venice Beach Pier) from which several disciples raised hundreds of dollars! One disciple, Ariel Hazelton, raised almost $1,200 in just three days after asking associates at her job to contribute! From taking on extra shifts to tagging, to literally praying to get money in the mail, the Lord truly multiplied our efforts!Also of special note was the baptism of Ashley, a senior at UCLA! Ashley is a Pre-med, Physiological Studies Major who is applying for Medical School at UCLA! She just received a high-paying job for the summer working fulltime as an assistant for an Oral Surgeon in the area!

These past two weeks have been momentous and nothing short of miraculous as we’ve had the bittersweet privilege of sending-off the “Portland Eight” Supplemental Mission Team consisting of Cesar & Debbie Limon, Fernando & Jackie Chavez, George Castillo, Valeria Garcia-Pineda, Phillip Redmon and Monique Carrasco! We understand that God only sends out His best, which leaves the second tier of leadership the responsibility of “raising up and carrying the torch.”

Mark Garrido: Good news from Central Region! This past month has been fantastic! Out of Central Region, we had the greatest privilege of seeing Kyle, Joan, Brett, Conner and little baby girl Bree Bartholomew sent out of LA to Metro Manila, Philippines to commence the evangelization of the Pacific Rim nations!
WEEK ONE: With so many sent out from Central Region, it was necessary for us to raise up new leaders! As we presented our plans to God, it became clear that the USC Campus Ministry should be led by Bryson Okuno & Jazzy Yogi, both transplants of Honolulu! The CSULA Ministry will be led by Jovanny Gochez & Sara Oros! The PCC Ministry will be led by Nathan Carr as our current leader Stefano Barbis is preparing to join Alfredo & Alejandra Anuch in the Santiago de Chile International Christian Church after the GLC where he’ll gather the Lima, Peru Mission Team! Of special note, the ELAC Campus Ministry will now be led by Jeff Martinez who is in fact an ELAC convert!
WEEK TWO: My beautiful and amazing wife Keri & I were blessed with the incredible opportunity to resume the good work that Kyle & Joan have been doing here in Central LA to prepare us for “Lord willing” the planting of the Guam International Christian Church in a year or two to come! Serving, preaching, Bible studies, vigorous discipleship, inspiring, challenging, refocusing, planning and setting goals for our region has made this month a truly delightful experience as we have been drawing close to God all together as a unified region!

The ELAC and CSULA men met a Chinese national Thomas on ELAC! Thomas had no knowledge of who Jesus is but after our combined campus efforts and patiently walking Thomas through the book of John and the First Principle Studies, it was nothing less than spectacular to see Thomas realize that he stumbled on the true Kingdom of God! Thomas simply had faith, repented and was baptized and is now your brother in Christ!

Please be praying for us as many are studying and are near baptism!Lance Underhill: Greetings from the Sold-out South Region! We are so excited and grateful having Tim & Lianne Kernan as well as their sons – Junior and David – back in the South! The Kernans’ love, faith, hard work and vision for the “tribe” here has inspired all of us and we anticipate the “miracles” that are about to happen!
Today, we witnessed our first baptism Chatara, since the Kernans were passed the baton! However, most exciting this month to Connie & me was the arrival “home” of our youngest son Joey back after four years on the mission field in Sao Paulo, Brazil!

Like “a cord of three strands” Christian

the Holy Spirit!Of course ”Tio (Uncle) Kip” & “Tia (Aunt) Elena” could not miss it! So we had the great honor and privilege of hearing our brother Kip powerfully preach the Word at our Sunday Service! After a challenging message on bearing fruit that will last, at the end of the service two souls were added to the Kingdom by baptism: Naomi and Eboniee! Naomi is the teenage daughter of our sister Paula Deen! After studying the Bible, Naomi realized the cost of becoming a disciple was her life but quickly proclaimed “Jesus is Lord” and was baptized!

Also today, we sent-out two of our best to the West Region of the City of Angels International Christian Church: Arvind and Shamika – both baptized in Las Vegas and willing to “go anywhere, do anything and give up everything” for the Kingdom of God! We are also very excited to send-out at the GLC two more incredible disciples – Dayisha and Shay – to be part of the Sacramento Mission Team! To God be all the glory!Joy Axelson: “Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.” (John 12:24-25) It has been a bittersweet few weeks here in the Mission Bay Church in San Diego. After serving selflessly in San Diego for nearly five years, the Spirit has blown Evan & Kelly Bartholomew to meet the needs of the Orange County Region of our City of Angels Congregation! Together, with five other gallant disciples; Bobby & Kensey Merrett, Tyrone White, Amber Anderson and Alicia Amezcua they have become known as the “OC Seven!”

At this gathering, many shared about the spirit of family and love amongst the disciples in the Mission Bay Church that Evan & Kelly have cultivated through the Word! We are so grateful for our unified movement of churches! This past week we had five incredible disciples visit us from the North Region of LA – David & Ashley Caldwell, Fred & Manu Batson, and Jonathan Panossian! Fred opened our service with a great prayer; Ashley shared vulnerably about the gift of the cross for communion; and Jonathan shared a presentation for contribution – “An Attitude of Gratitude” about his trip with the Feumbas to Haiti! It was so moving many were in tears realizing the suffering of their Hatian brothers and sisters! Thanks be to God that we can have unity in our fellowship so that we can see the needs worldwide and get inspired to go after raising money for Special Missions!

It has been an incredible month of May! We had our first Santa Barbara wedding; the new SB Church Leaders – Dennis & Corinna Sloan of LA – placed membership; and the Spirit has sent us out to lead the incredible Washington DC Church!
Santa Barbara’s very first convert, Alex, who was baptized almost two years ago as a UCSB graduate student, married Bria, one of the original SB Mission Team Members from Chicago, on May 10th! It was such a privilege being able to reach out to Alex at UCSB, study the Bible with and baptize him, and then to perform his wedding ceremony! God really does have great plans for us when we choose to seek Him with all of our heart! (Jeremiah 29:11-14)

The Ventura Region of the City of Angels International Christian Church joined the Santa Barbara Church for the Spirit’s sending-out of Elizabeth & me! We will be accompanied to DC by three other SB disciples! It was truly a remarkable worship service with the family! After 706 days, I preached my final sermon in Santa Barbara, titled, PERFECT GIFT FROM HEAVEN (James 1:17) where I thanked God and everybody in the Santa Barbara Church for making these past two years the best years of our lives! There’s so much to reflect on and be grateful for from our time in Santa Barbara: our son Sawyer being born, going into the full-time ministry for the first time, and being appointed an Evangelist and a Women’s Ministry Leader, just to mention a few!Elizabeth & I believe that we both really “grew up” while we were in Santa Barbara! We are going to miss this great church so much (and meeting for Sunday service right next to the beach), but we are excited for the next great adventure that God is taking us on in Washington DC!

Greetings from the Northwest and Canada World Sector!! I am writing this from our dear partners in the gospel Jason & Sarah Dimitry’s apartment after an amazing weekend with the electric San Francisco Bay International Christian Church (SFBICC)!! My wife & I are so grateful for their friendship and leadership! We have learned so much from them and hope we can imitate and bring many of the great qualities we have seen in them and in the SFBICC this weekend back to Eugene!
In month of May in Eugene, we have seen four more added through the waters of baptisms!! Two from Oregon State University (Riker & Christina) and two more from the University of Oregon (Kelli & Ezra)!

Campus Ministry!As well, we were privileged to send-out two more disciples to the mission field: our dear Maddie Hackett to the West Region of LA and the beloved Brooke Helm to San Francisco to get ready to go back to her home town on the Sacramento Mission Team!I just want to take the time to lift up our amazing Campus Ministry! This time last year, we had just nine people in our Campus Ministry with just three full-time students at the U of O and one at Lane Community College. Today, after a year of bold preaching and daily Bible Talks, our Campus Ministry stands at 27 strong disciples! Amazingly these original nine disciples did not just grow numerically but also expanded geographically! We now have a presence on the two top schools in the state of Oregon – the University of Oregon and Oregon State University – bitter rivals in the world!

Megan walked onto the U of O as the only student in the Campus Ministry! Now, four years later, she will leave behind 27 amazing disciples! And what does Megan want to do now that she’s has her BA Degree? She’s going to be a missionary on the Sacramento Mission Team! Thank you Kip, Tim and Jason for your call to refocus on the Campus Ministry! A baptism that particularly ignited the church was that of Tyre Ellison, a UC Berkley starting football player and graduate! Though nobody told his mom or ex-pastor the location of the baptism, they somehow showed up with several members of his church and other members of his family and tried to argue and physically pull him away! It was incredible to see him stand up to them about his convictions and victoriously march toward his baptism even receiving persecution all the way to the waters! When Tyre came out of the waters, the church erupted in joyful celebration as they watched him stand “strong in God’s amazing grace!” Since then, his mom came to church and apologized; his sister came to Bible Talk; and his brother is studying the Bible!

especially children!This week it was great to have Cesar & Debbie Limon and the awesome Portland Supplemental Mission Team visiting the Bay Area! These incredible “veteran” warriors laid their lives down to help plant the church here in San Francisco and served as a great foundation. They literally housed all 15 members of the original mission team during the initial planting! Grateful for the Kingdom and to God be all the glory!

We took up our Special Missions Collect and with a goal of $63,720 we raised over $75,000!!!! I am so proud of the church and all the hard work every disciple has put in to make this year’s missions a total success!However, the real highlight was that we had the City of Angels Supplemental Mission Team place membership along with three other amazing sisters totaling 12 additions! Today Coleen & I presented Cesar & Debbie Limon – the new Portland Lead Ministry Couple – with a carved lighthouse to “pass on” this incredible congregation into their hands as they truly will be a “shining light” to this city!

Every single person walked away inspired by his lesson and impacted by Debbie’s vulnerable communion! We have full confidence that this incredible couple will do “even greater things” than we were able to accomplish! (John 14:12) We of course ended the service with a prayer on our knees as the Spirit sent us off!

The last few weeks have been truly faith-building and inspiring as God continues to grow the church both numerically and geographically! First, God has added a new House Church (HC) as we officially planted the East HC led by the dynamic couple – Matt & Marlo Lovacheff! Last week, they had their Inaugural East HC Service and the Lord blessed the 10 disciples of the East HC with 55 in attendance! Matt preached his most powerful and inspiring lesson to date, as he encouraged everyone to give their full hearts to God and His mission!

To God be all the glory!HEADLINE NEWS – USA SOUTH QUADRANTRon Harding of Washington DC: Greetings from the Capital of the United States! “So the Word of God spread. The number of disciples in Jerusalem increased rapidly, and a large number of priests became obedient to the faith!” (Acts 6:7) I am so very encouraged by the absolute focus of the church as we approach my last week here in DC before moving to LA to serve alongside in the Southland Region with my dear friend – Cory Blackwell! The DC Church has surged forward week after week, adding 12 souls in the last nine weeks!

While we’ve seen campus students and family members converted, most special to me personally was the story of Bayarmandakh “Andy” Byamba – a Mongolian “Christian” minister who knew Enkhee Ganbaatar (now in the West Region of LA) before Enkhee’s conversion two years ago! After Enkhee & Termma moved to Los Angeles last year, our valiant Northern Virginia Ministry Leader – James Haynes – continued to reach out to Andy! After months of studying, just as in Acts 6:7, Andy the Minister “became obedient to the faith” making Jesus his Lord and was baptized for his salvation! Andy’s wife is now studying, and James, along with the other two members of the over 30 year old “Veteran Club” of Jack McGee and Ben Eisenschmidt, will be having “Chariot Ride style” Bible studies with Andy’s entire church over the next several weeks!

is next!”I am personally in awe of the Lord and His miracles here in DC! To Him be all the glory, honor and praise forever!Melanie Coyle: God blessed the Houston Church by surpassing our Special Missions Collection this past Sunday! Our faith goal was $31,660, but God blessed us with $32,255! Each Bible Talk pulled together to help one another with their goals, remembering Galatians 6:2 – “carrying each other’s burdens!” One of the highlights was our first Teen Car Wash where they raised over $350 washing giant pick-up trucks!
God also blessed us this past Friday with two baptisms, Troy and Jules! A couple weeks ago at Men’s Midweek (held at the University of Houston), John Smoot prayed in the opening prayer, “God I pray that any men who hear this prayer will come over to hear your Word preached, make a decision to study the Bible, and become a disciple!” Troy, a U of H Engineering student, heard the prayer, walked over, and joined the men for Midweek! Troy immediately began studying the Bible and was baptized on Friday!

Jules is a talented performer and was invited by Brittany Smoot at Starbucks! God continues to encourage the Houston disciples because of their faith, sacrifice and perseverance! Pray for us!Matt Sullivan: “You give me your shield of victory, and your right hand sustains me; you stoop down to make me great.” (Psalm 18:35) The Lord is stooping down mightily for the incredible Orlando Church as we have had 21 additions in the first 22 weeks of 2015 – 16 baptisms and five who moved in!

Our Mission Team is doing great because God is “teaching, rebuking, correcting and training” us so that we may all be “thoroughly equipped” and ready for our Inaugural Service on September 20, 2015!

Lina is single mother of two beautiful children and she was met by our brother Simon when they were studying nursing together four years ago! She even came to our Sunday Service three years ago! We all witnessed how our Father God has been drawing her “with unfailing kindness” all these years towards Jesus and felt incredible joy seeing her enter into God’s Kingdom this past week!

her Stockholm Sisters!A unique outreach of the Stockholm ICC is through music as we have several former professional musicians in our fellowship! But every now and then the brothers get together to simply entertain the disciples with a Jazz Jam!

And to God be all the glory!Michael Williamson: Greetings and love from London, England! God is AWE-some! With a faith goal of £65,000 (US$99,243) God blessed months of bucket shaking in tube stations (tagging) and financial sacrifice as the church raised £69,786 ($109,734) to blow out our 20X Missions Goal! God also added five souls this month to the Kingdom in baptisms!

annhialate their Missions Goal!We started out the month with a bang at the University Of East London (UEL) as we were not only nominated the Top Student Society on campus, but at Devo we baptized Sandra an incredible campus student who was met at the “Freshers Fair” through the outreach of our UEL Campus Society SWAG (Students Who Apply God)!A few days later on Sunday, Berenice – a young single woman – was baptized! She was met by Michele over a year and-a-half ago and after a wild follow-up story began studying the Bible again! She then attends our incredible Women’s Day and decides to LET IT (ALL) GO and study the Bible! Berenice comes from a religious background where her father was a very famous Pentecostal Pastor in Romania, and she even went to Africa at her own expense on missionary trips to “save the lost!” After doing her timeline with the sisters, she grabbed Michele’s pen and crossed out her whole religious experience and said that means nothing now! It was incredible to see “the scales fall from her eyes” as she became a true baptized disciple and the first seed for our Bucharest Crown of Thorns planting in 2021!

Romania Church Planting!The following Friday night at Devo another campus student from Poland was baptized into Christ, Peter! Also, we saw “love in the air” as campus student Frank Simelane asked Ashley Mathos to be his girlfriend!!Then on Sunday, a Portuguese family was united in Christ as Regina the wife of our brother Helio was baptized!

husband in Christ!The following Sunday, Doyin also made Jesus Lord after studying in less than two weeks! She was met by Maria on her way to our Women’s Midweek Service! Doyin attended with her and has been an incredible addition to the church with her infectious energy and warm heart!
The angels rejoice at Doyin’s baptism!To capitalize on “Footy Fever” this past weekend with England’s FA Cup Final on Saturday, we had our first official 2015 “Football Service” entitled WHO DO YOU SUPPORT? The energy was electric as disciples from over 30 Nations with hands in the air shouted team names while donning matching team jerseys to play seven minute round-robin football matches! We then had a nail-biter of a final as Ashley Adjai led his team to victory over a powerful, stacked team with semi pro player Sadique – who’s counting the cost!

Larisa Kaminskay: Hello from Kyiv, Ukraine! May was a fruitful month for the Kyiv ICC! Three souls were added to our number through baptism, and now we are 25! God worked powerfully through Oleg & Elena Sirotkin, as they spent four weeks with us in April during their efforts to secure proper papers for their children. From their many efforts, on May 12th, we had a double baptism: two friends – Liuda and Alina – were baptized into our Campus Ministry! It’s very encouraging that Liuda was invited by Ira, who is only 15 years old and only half-a-year in Christ, and whose zeal inspires all the church! Another good news is that Liuda – while studying the Bible – invited her dorm roommate, Alina! They began studying together and were baptized the same day!

baptized on the same day!On May 24th, God blessed us with one more baptism! Kostia is the husband of our sister Natasha, who was recently restored after more than a 10 years living a non-Christian life! Her persistent prayers were answered, and now Kostia & Natasha are united in Christ!

was finally baptized into Christ!Elena Sirotkina: Greetings from Moscow! In the remarkable month of May, God bless the Moscow Church with seven new brothers and sisters! We are happy to welcome our new sister Evelina, who was baptized in early May, and then our brother Alexiy, who was baptized after a long search for the “true church!”It is truly wonderful to see how God fills our “international church” in Moscow with brothers sisters of different nationalities with a dream to return to their own nations to lead them to Christ! Vadim from Ukraine was baptized in May! He was impressed with seeing the changes in his mother after her baptism! Then on May 17th, Tatyana from Kalmykia, one of the regions of Russia, was baptized! She grew up in a Buddhist family and steadfastly observed these traditions, but she met Victoria – a disciple of Jesus! Tatiana understood that only Jesus died for her sins and was physically resurrected from the dead! And He is the only Savior! Along with her, in this day in Moscow, was baptized Stephen – our new and very grateful brother from Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo!

Stephen is from the Congo!The next week, we witnessed the long-awaited restoration of Tatiana! It always touches my heart when God’s children come back to the Father and say, “I’m not worthy,” because it reminds us of just how merciful our Father really is!Then on Saturday, the church gathered at one of the train stations of Moscow to meet with songs our sister Zoe and her little daughter from Yekaterinburg! Zoe left the church several years ago and married and went to live in France. She realized that without a relationship with God and service to Him, nothing makes sense! Zoe has met with the leader of the women of the Paris Church, Prisca Scheidecker, and shared that she is divorced and wants to return home to Russia and to be with the church. Prisca inspired Zoe immediately go to Moscow and go our church! Eventually, Zoe sold her car and went to Moscow with her young daughter. And today all of our church celebrated the restoration of Zoe to the movement of God’s Kingdom!

is just one month away!It is going to be exciting to fellowship with our French-speaking brothers and sisters in the Ivory Coast, as well as to gather remnant church leaders from Cameroon, Ethiopia, Democratic Republic of Congo, South Africa, Kenya and Uganda, who represent the almost 500 remnant disciples throughout the African continent! Speakers include: Andrew & Patrique Smellie, Chris & Sonja Chloupek, Amadou & Angele Sountoura, Micky Ngungu, Lola Lof, Nick Winn, Kip McKean, and many more! Pray for this historic event!Nick Winn of Gordon’s Bay: “It is the Lord Christ you are serving!” (Colossians 3:24) Straight forward and to the point, as long as we know who it’s all about, He will give victory upon victory!
Since returning from LA and the Winter Workshop in January, the church in Gordon’s Bay has had many ups and downs in the form of persecutions, restorations and of course the remarkable visit of Andrew & Patrique which inspired the group in an amazing way! But yesterday and today we saw two wonderful additions to the church! Amid heavy persecution from her husband, Elena Pokotylyuk and her mom Anna – both from Ukraine – studied the Bible! Elena, who speaks good English, studied with the sisters here and was baptized yesterday! And Anna, who studied via Skype in Russian with Sasha Korotova of Moscow was baptized today with the entire church in Moscow watching the baptism live via Skype!

And you became imitators of us and of the Lord, for you received the Word in much affliction, with the joy of the Holy Spirit, so that you became an example to all the believers in Macedonia and in Achaia.” (1 Thessalonians 1:4-6) I can only imagine the overwhelming joy of Paul the Apostle when he received the news that the Thessalonian Church was still growing even though he only spent three weeks there to plant the church!
I am equally amazed by the work of the Holy Spirit in Haiti! 19 new sold-out disciples were baptized as the result of our 10 days trip in April! Marvelously in this month of May 10 more people were baptized in Port-au-Prince and Mirebalais! Our latest planting in Mirebalais, started during our trip with the proper conversion of Louisius Exilien a former Pentecostal preacher and his wife Mary, now have 16 sold-out disciples after the baptism of three more souls this month!

converted this month!So, the Haitian Story continues… After the conversion of Alexis at the August 2013 GLC, we now have 160 disciples in Haiti in five churches after only 21 months!

Adriana Gomez: Greetings from the Bogota ICC! This is an example of our unity in Christ… Some months ago, a Colombian couple had fled our country threatened by evil people! They arrived to Chile and when they and their children were hungry, cold and practically naked, they contacted the church there and the disciples helped them, showing them the true love of God! The news traveled across the Andes Mountains and their families wanted know “that kind of Christian people” here in Bogota! Last month, the wife’s sister, Elena was baptized in Christ, and recently, her parents, Joaquín & Belén were baptized in Christ too! Also, Elena’s other two sisters and their husbands and children are now regularly attending church!

He lost all – marriage, family and wealth – when after the crumbling of our former movement he turned back to the world. Today, he was restored to the Lord and added to His family again!

Campus Ministry!Then, two incredible physical sisters were baptized in Patricia and Priscila! Then, we had two amazing restorations in Eduardo and Andreia! We also had the privilege to receive Olimpia Argueta as a missionary from LA, and to tearfully send Joey Underhill back to LA after serving the Lord here as a missionary faithfully for almost four years!

We love you with the love of the Lord!Carlos Mejia: “After He drove the man out, He placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.” (Genesis 3:24) Greetings from Santiago! Today was an historic day in Santiago as the Lord has allowed us to “hand over” the church to our dear friends Alfredo & Alejandra Anuch, the first Chilean nationals in the history of this movement (and the ICOC) to lead the church in their home country!
Lucy & I presented Alfredo & Alejandra with a Bushido sword, or “Samurai Sword,” which is an emblem of power and spirit! The very possession of such a valuable instrument imparted to the samurai warrior a feeling and an air of dignity and responsibility! It was also a symbol of what was to be in a Samurai’s heart and mind – loyalty and honor! A Samurai would choose death over living with a false heart. As we presented Alfredo & Ale with two Samurai swords, I read from Genesis 3:24 and charged them “to guard” the church with their sword of truth, which is the Word of God!

We were so moved and many were brought to tears by the lyrics in a song performed by the church band and written by our amazing sister Mirza entitled, Gracias which of course means “Thank You!”

Kyle Bartholomew: Greetings from Manila, Philippines! We are so very grateful for all of the churches around the world who sacrificed by taking up a Special Missions Collection this year which has enabled us to be sent out to the Philippines!
It has been an amazing past three weeks since the mission team arrived! I am happy to report that all of the mission team members are settled into their new homes and have fallen in love with their new country! We have all been working hard as we prepare for our Inaugural Service on June 7th with a prayer goal of 261 in attendance since the original Manila Mission Team in 1989 had 260 at their Inaugural Service! Excitingly, 343 people have already committed to come to this historic event at the Intercontinental Hotel in Makati with just under a week to go!

LA to lead the AV Region!We have also been solidifying our convictions as we just finished a three week First Principles Course! We have already seen three precious souls baptized (Lou, Christialyn, and Cherry) and two restored (Rogelio and Annaliza) in the past three weeks, and there are a lot more that are close to being added! restored to God and His church!Liz Okuno of Honolulu: “On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, ‘Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.’” (John 7:37) If there is a woman who is thirsty for God’s Word, it is Kristen! We first met Kristen about a month ago near the Art Building on the UH Manoa Campus! My boyfriend Kawika & I were sharing for Bible Talk and God planned that our paths should meet Kristen! We invited her to Bible Talk and she eagerly accepted! Kristen later shared that, at the time, she felt lost and confused! She was searching for more from life! In her Bible studies, she drank deeply from God’s Word, and I had the privilege of witnessing the “living water” refresh her soul! “The burning sand will become a pool, the thirsty ground bubbling springs…” (Isaiah 35:7)With her soul finally fulfilled with God’s Word, Kristin was asked to give up everything for Jesus and His Kingdom, and she was baptized today in the beautiful Hawaiian waters and now she is your sister in Christ!

are forgiven!On a sad note, we said goodbye to Lou Jack, Cathi, Christine and Philip Martinez today and sent them off with several gifts from the Islands, and of course, a whole lot of love and ALOHA! We are so grateful for all they taught us and shared with us, and know the Honolulu Church has been both edified and solidified, and is ready now to MULTIPLY under the new leadership of Jake & Jen Ramsier and Curtis & Morgan Valdez of LA!

The 20 year old, hair dresser was going through a lot at the time when Kerry reached out to her while she was getting her hair done at the salon where Kate works.She first came out to church while Kyle & Joan Bartholomew were here on their way to Manila and was particularly moved by Joan’s communion! She started studying the Bible and realized her need for God and soon decided to get baptized! This girl has persevered through so much to get to where she is today and we couldn’t be happier or more proud of her and her decision to make Jesus Lord! Welcome to the family Kate!!

making Kate into a disciple!HEADLINE NEWS – USA NORTH QUADRANT & INDIAChris Broom of New York City: The Bible says in Psalm 145:7, “They will celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness.” Truly, May has been an incredible month with much to celebrate! First, God added six more to our number – three baptisms and three place memberships! Of special note was Bonnie, a Chinese engineering student and the first baptism in our newly formed Columbia University Bible Talk! And she was baptized during finals week! Bonnie was one of three freshmen selected to go on an all-expense-paid trip to Japan, where the student ambassadors visited prestigious universities to help “bridge the gap” between the two countries!

to smile for the camera!In closing, I want to highlight an incredible sister in the New York City Church, Nicole Garland! May was a month to remember for Nicole as she graduated from our Chemical Recovery Ministry, led powerfully for the women by Dejaimenay Pedican! Nicole was also able to fundraise over $500 from her office for our upcoming Missions Contribution, and thanks to her boss matching all she raised from her other co-workers! Then, she was blessed by God with a pay raise! Finally, as Nicole went to sign the papers for her new apartment that she would share with her soon-to-be husband Vladimir Antoine, she saw that the realtor had lied about their income, saying they made more than they did… probably to give them a better chance of getting the apartment! Knowing they could deny her the apartment, Nicole told the truth! Amen! Not only did they give her & Vladimir the apartment, but since the realtor was fired, they saved $1,175 on the realtor’s fee that they did not have to pay!This past Saturday, she married her best friend, Vladimir Antoine! The wedding was absolutely breathtaking and we enjoyed wonderful fellowship with disciples who were visiting from Los Angeles, Boston, Washington DC, Dallas, Syracuse and Toronto! So awesome to be a unified movement of churches!

Brian Carr of Boston: Greetings from the land of many “hahvest fields!” “The wind blows wherever it pleases… So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.” Super excitingly, Sean – a grad-student from Beijing, China – started coming to church and immediately fell in love with the fellowship! So this month after a few weeks of studying the Bible, Sean was baptized into Christ in the Charles River! God continues to build the Hong Kong Mission Team!

of the dynamic Boston Church!It has been nothing short of a faith-building time this year raising Special Missions! Our great God has blessed the efforts and hearts of the disciples by allowing us to surpass our Special Missions Goal this year!Finally, the Spirit has decided to blow Preston & Shauna (soon to be the Inkley’s on June 6th!) across the country to be the Campus Ministry Couple in the Antelope Valley Region of LA! I originally thought the Spirit was blowing a bit too hard as it can be so challenging to say goodbye to your best friend! Preston and I have grown so close and it has been such a privilege to walk together and see him grow up spiritually over the years. I’m so proud of the man of God that he has become and I’m reminded in our friendship of Proverbs 18:24, “There is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” God has raised him up to be an amazing peer to me and a great leader! I speak on behalf of the whole church when I say it’s hard to lose someone like Preston, but we are fired-up to be part of a sold-out movement of churches and we are willing to do what it takes to see this world evangelized in our day! We will miss them both so much, but we are excited to see the great things they are going to do in the AV!

We had 11 graduations, tagging for three Saturdays, our Latinfest, a new baby, and our send-off for the Economos to LA! The Latinfest was amazing as we had Sal & Patricia Velasco, the Palm Springs Region Leaders of LA, come to inspire our Latin Ministry as they preached powerful lessons for both a Friday Night Devo and the Sunday Service! Latinfest was indeed a fun-filled day with special entertainment, a bounce house for the kids, face painting, clowns, basketball, volleyball and of course great food!


Latinfest!We are also fired-up to announce three new fulltime paid staff who will be helping us take the Chicago Church to another level: Stephania Brooks, who turned down an acceptance letter to Medical School to work in the West Region; Marlyn Montano who will be co-leading the Central Region and the Latin Ministry with her husband, Victor; and finally Umberto Muniz will be training to lead the West Region with its many campuses while being a student at Dominican College!

Marcus, who was met by Omar and who are both personal trainers, had rejected God’s plan for his life but couldn’t deny the truth and has become very bold even confronting his former minister who agreed to study the Bible!

They have been with us for seven years and have been a very foundational couple! We are truly excited for them as they have taken on a great role as World Sector Administrators for the City of Angels Church!

These past few weeks have been exciting as we are wrapping up our fundraising for missions! Some of the amazing women in the church put on a Rummage Sale that was an astonishing HIT! We had advertisements in the newspaper, on the radio, sign holders on the streets, a bake sale, and lots to sell! Not only was it a great way to raise money, but also to empty our homes and share our faith! Hundreds of dollars were raised in just a few hours!
God is also shaking up the campuses here in Syracuse! This week it was very encouraging to watch another OCC student baptized – Tilia! She is a vibrant young woman and has already brought out many of her family members to church!

Never, to my knowledge, in the 22 years of the Syracuse Church has someone been baptized on the prestigious Le Moyne University Campus. About a month ago, God just so had it that some of the brothers would run into Andrew while hanging out near the campus. He is a pre-med student and on top of that he is in three Honor Societies, serving as the president of one of them! Amidst finals and studying for his MCAT, Andrew studied the Bible and made Jesus Lord of all!

becomes a baptized disciple!Contrary to popular opinion, “lightening does strike twice,” as my husband Raja struck again by snatching another soul from Satan’s clutches! I’m reminded of Acts 18:8, “Crispus, the Synagogue Leader, and his entire household believed in the Lord; and many of the Corinthians who heard Paul believed and were baptized!” Philip, a Pentecostal Pastor, came to Chennai from Raipur for a Pastors Conference and was rushing to catch the train when Raja invited him! Raja persevered with Philip through phone calls and emails for more than two months and convinced him to come and visit the Chennai ICC Church! Philip travelled more than 1,000 miles (32 hours by train and bus) just to visit the church! At his very first church service, Philip was touched by the love of the disciples and humbly accepted that he was not a Christian! After studying with Raja, he made Jesus the Lord of his life with tears and was baptized!

Now let’s pray that God will multiply these “loaves and fishes!” (Matthew 14:19-21)
Please keep on praying for the Inaugural Service of the Metro Manila International Christian Church just a week away! After the Inaugural, Elena & I will travel to Sydney to once again be side-by-side in the Lord’s work with Joe & Kerry Willis! We will return to LA on Sunday, June 21st. Then, Lord willing on the 22nd, I will go to witness the miracle of the First African Missions Conference in Abidjan, Ivory Coast! If all goes as planned, I will return June 29th!

Greetings from Los Angeles! What an incredible month it has been since our last Good News Email! Our May 3rd City of Angels Church Send-off Service for the Metro Manila Mission Team was simply in a word – sensational!
The Metro Manila Mission Team!The atmosphere was electric and the singing was angelic as we were joined by our sister churches from Las Vegas, San Diego, San Francisco and Santa Barbara!

This brought a renewed sense of awe for the powerful ways that the Lord is moving through His new movement around the world!In retrospect, the entire month of April was so inspiring for Elena & me beginning with Easter Service in the Mighty IE Region to Kwaku & Ashley Sarkodie’s Wedding to the joyful returns from their missionary journeys of the Smellies from Johannesburg and the Feumbas from Haiti!

missionary journey to South Africa at
the April 7th Staff Meeting!Another faith-building event was the placing membership of one of the great heroes of the faith in the 80’s and 90’s in the ICOC – Chris McGrath! Chris was born of Irish parents and lived his younger years in England and Ireland. His passion was sports and in particular boxing! God used this as Chris was first “baptized” through the efforts of his boxing coach who was a member of the Mainline Church of Christ! Later, Chris came in contact with the Boston Movement (renamed the International Churches of Christ in 1994) in London. After studying with a non-Christian, Chris saw very quickly that he did not become a disciple before he was originally baptized! Therefore, he was baptized as a disciple on December 21, 1983!Though Chris had sparred with professional boxing champions, because of his new passion for Jesus, he gave up boxing and became a full-time preacher trained by the brothers in London! Later, he brought the discipling movement to Australia and then to different parts of the UK! Especially near to his heart was Ireland! Then after serving the Lord in Detroit and Atlanta in America, Chris in his own words wandered in a spiritual desert. Praise God, George Grima contacted him on Facebook in March… and the rest will be history as God has once again placed Chris in the fulltime ministry!

This year every game in the regular season and the playoffs was close and highly contested… but as always with Christian demeanor! Friday night, May 1st, most of the church gathered at the Crenshaw Christian Center Gymnasium for the Three Point Contest, the Championship Game, and then the All Star Game! For the Three Point Contest, our top eight Three Point scorers from regular season play were selected. In “head-to-head competition” with single elimination, each pairing (#1 vs #8, #2 vs #7, etc…) had one minute to shoot a total of 15 balls – five from the side, five from the top of the key, and five from the other side – with the last ball at each station as the “money ball” that was worth two points!

What a powerful, God awe-inspired Teen Retreat we had! Our weekend theme was entitled, HERE AM I! (Isaiah 6:8) The weekend was filled with powerful preaching (including six amazing Teen preachers), incredible fellowship, a faith-challenging high ropes course, early morning quiet times, Campfire Night, glow in the dark Capture the Flag, great food, and LOTS OF FUN!!

that means LOTS OF FUN!We are excited to see the fruit of the Teen Ministry Retreat as all the teens made defining decisions to be radically different coming down the mountain! The charge was to embrace the calling from God and realize He has “sent” each Teen EXACTLY where He wants them to be! Therefore… The call is to pick up the torch and be a shining bright light in their schools and families sharing the Word that brings true salvation to this lost world!

who was baptized two weeks before!Sahar is a student at Cal State Fullerton, who came to the USA from Iran only four short months ago to pursue her master’s in Computer Science. She was raised in a Muslim home, but Sahar was always curious about Christianity. Although difficult and risky to obtain, Sahar got ahold of a Bible in the Middle East from one of her friends, where she faithfully read her Bible in Farsi for 10 years! However, it wasn’t until coming to CSUF and meeting a disciple, Erin Fischer, that Sahar learned the truth about Jesus Christ! Indeed, God is faithful and will gather those who are truly seeking Him with all of their hearts!

These past weeks have been amazing as we have nearly collected all of our Missions Contribution and God added four through the refreshing waters of baptism which brings us to be 60 strong!The first baptism of the month was Marla who was kicked out of her house and lost her job for the Kingdom, but she is fired up! Secondly was Alexandra who was a longtime friend of our dear sister Alejandra!

reach you next!”The last two were Anthony and Calvin which were our first two baptisms from the newly planted Azusa Pacific University Ministry! What was amazing about their story was that Calvin studied the Bible first but didn’t like the “very condemning” studies. He was complaining about the Bible Study Series to his friend Anthony, but Anthony wanted to see the studies for himself so he started studying. Anthony quickly saw that these “very condemning” studies are actually “bold and upfront” Bible studies which is just what he was searching for! Long story short, Anthony gets baptized and then a few days later baptized his friend Calvin… The message spreads even through persecution!

will reach you next!”Lastly it was awesome to have Ricky & Coleen Challinor and the “Portland Seven” with us as they are “spying out the land” for when they come to take over the East in just a few short weeks… Pray for the transition to be smooth! We love you with the love of the Lord!Adam Zepeda: “For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill His good purpose.” (Philippians 2:13) Greetings from the Inland Empire! God has definitely been working powerfully in the disciples here in the IE to “will and act” in order to fulfill His purpose!Just a couple weeks ago, we had the incredible opportunity of “sending-off” Ashley Godwin and Rebecca Lemperle to be with Argo & Anu in Stockholm! However, the Holy Spirit’s “breeze” doesn’t stop there; we are also very encouraged to have Sarah Chang be sent-off with Princeton & Joy George along with the supplemental mission team to San Diego!In other news, we witnessed another miracle in Arnold as he came to make Jesus Lord this past Sunday! Arnold, a neuroscience major at UCR, expressed how desperate he was to find God and shared that before he was met, he tried taking his own life with sleeping pills, but by the grace of God, Arnold quickly realized the point he had come to and immediately began to regurgitate the pills! Little did he know that three weeks later he would “coincidentally” be reached out to by a disciple, Thomas Killion, study the Bible, and in a little over a week’s time get baptized! God is so good!

the IE Challenge, “You will be next!”Sal Velasco: Greetings from the HOT Palm Springs Region! In Mark 3:35 Jesus says, “Whoever does God’s will is my brother and my sister and mother.” Well in 2015, we have started off the year by adding three family members to our church family!Fast forward to today and we have an amazing story of perseverance and faith, as our Heavenly Father worked in our Palm Springs Family once again! Valeria was the first baptism in Palm Springs and was later asked to move to the East Region. She faithfully invited her father to church and we started studying the Bible right away! He had a great heart for God and became your brother in the faith at the end of last year and started working on his wife Fransisca. She started coming to Bible Talk and to church and studying the Bible with my wife. The amazing thing is that she had such a difficult upbringing that she never learned to read, so with great patience and persistence the Scriptures came to life to her as she would listen to audio of the Bible and studied with the sisters. After several months of studying, Fransisca became your sister in Christ today!

In the past five weeks in this Year of Maturity, Kyle & Joan Bartholomew – formerly the Central Region Leaders – have been sent off to Metro Manila Philippines! From having only two focal Campus Ministries, God has given us an amazing opportunity and students to advance our Campus Ministries now on USC, PCC, Cal State LA and ELAC with faithful leaders strategically in place for spiritual battle! Of real joy, Avrie Blackwell was accepted into USC in April and will join us soon!

Pray for my wife Keri & me to “go in the strength [we] have” and lead this tremendous region of God’s great people! (Judges 6:14)Lance Underhill: “In the midst of a very severe trial, their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity.” (2 Corinthians 8:2) So much is happening in the South Region that we are overflowing with joy! First we witnessed two baptisms: Martha Jagueri and Karina Wilson! Karina is our dear sister Capil Estep’s physical sister, originally from Nepal. She came to Joe & Capil’s wedding in December and just had to return from Michigan to LA to learn more about “this church!” Karina lives with her husband and children in Ann Arbor and is sustained spiritually by the Chicago disciples!

Welcome back Onekea Ohana!Johnny & Veronica Sanchez were the first and second baptisms of the Southland Region! Unfortunately due to a lack of faith and trust in God, Johnny fell away. Veronica and their five children held on with just a mustard seed of faith, but God is faithful and now so is Johnny! He was restored to the Lord and His church at our last Midweek Service. The joy in the room was incredible as Johnny, Veronica and their five beautiful kids are so loved!

a sold-out disciple of Jesus Christ!Campus also baptized a great young man Jasuan, who has been fired-up since he first started coming out to church! I want to lift up our single women who have showed great perseverance studying the Bible with two awesome women who had to fight through many obstacles to become Christians! Leti and Stephane became baptized disciples after many months of studying the Bible! The world is not a kind place and I am so glad that they held on to God’s grace and mercy!

It is particularly exciting for Patrique & I that the next scheduled Crown of Thorns Planting will be Johannesburg, South Africa in August 2016! We have the honor of leading this first “official” planting on the great African continent of over 1.1 billion souls!NEWS FLASH – In April of this year, Patrique & I had the privilege of traveling to South Africa and meeting with valiant disciples in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pretoria and even in the Kingdom of Swaziland! After hearing their stories of resilience through the painful disintegration of our former fellowship, it is clear that the time to gather the remnant and evangelize the great continent of Africa is NOW! In order to strengthen and unify the efforts of the more than 500 disciples in remnant groups throughout Africa, we will be hosting our movement’sFirst African Missions Conference from June 26th to June 28th of this year – less than two months away!!! USA SW QUADRANTElizabeth McDonnell: Warm greetings! This has been such an encouraging time here in the Santa Barbara Church even while we prepare for the transition of Dennis & Corinna Sloan coming to lead the church here, while we move to lead the DC Church! During these last few weeks, a great purification process has happened. A great deal of secret sin was exposed throughout the church, but instead of getting discouraged or self-focused, the disciples became broken, repented and then had three awesome women baptisms, all of which were baptized in the same weekend!

too early in the morning for that!While all of the women have incredible testimonies, the story of Laura Lewis becoming a disciple really warms my heart because it shows the unity between churches in our movement! Laura was reached out to by Ashley Dunn of the LA Church while she was having coffee all alone. But because of her imminent graduation from FIDM, as well as a weekly commute between LA and Santa Barbara (90 miles each way), she was only able to visit Ashley’s Bible Talk once. After graduation, she moved permanently up to Santa Barbara. That’s when Ashley made sure that I had Laura’s contact info so that she could be reached out to up here! Sure enough, after one meeting with Laura, I just knew that she was going to make an awesome disciple! Then after three months of wrestling with demons from the past, Laura repented and was baptized into Christ! And she has been an incredible addition to our Single’s Ministry!

Ranking as one of the top female high school wrestlers in Washington State (at 134 wins, 2 losses), she is now here by God’s plan to begin her training for the National Wrestling Team! She has longed to use the success in her wrestling career to influence and inspire others about God! Little did she know the difference that Women’s Day would make in her life! At 18 years of age, she studied the Bible and is now the youngest sister in our Campus Ministry – so full of zeal and equipped with the proper knowledge to now make the impact that she has yearned to make for God!HEADLINE NEWS

The past few weeks have been so encouraging as God has showered down His blessings from the great Rocky Mountains! First, I am so proud of our amazing Women’s Ministry as just a couple of weeks ago they put on one of the most incredible Women’s Days that I have ever seen entitled, FEARLESS! The banquet room was completely full of women as they had 72 in attendance and I have to say that my beautiful wife Julie preached one of her best lessons ever!

Campus Ministry!Stephanie Reed: Greetings from the Mighty Eugene Church! The month of April was amazing as we had our Annual Women’s Day! This year’s theme was LET IT GO! It was a very memorable day as we had a total attendance of 73 – 37 visitors and 35 disciples!

Eugene Women’s Day!We had great testimonies from Sierra McClelland our intern who shared about LETTING GO OF INSECURITIES, Brooke Helm our administrator shared about LETTING GO OF CONTROL, Reina Smith our Corvallis House Church Women’s Leader spoke about LETTING GO OF GUILT,and Lynee Pengra share about LETTING GO OF ANXIETY! We had Alex Reitman and Naarah Hansen sing Let It Go from the movie FROZEN. Then we had an amazing modern dance called I’m Not A Robot by a young disciple named Courtney, who was baptized in our U of O Ministry but now is up in Corvallis!

At first Riker didn’t believe Jesus was the Son of God, but after going through the studies he came to “a knowledge of the truth” and on Sunday he became our brother in Christ!

from the dead!Ricky Challinor of Portland: Good news from the City of Bridges!!! God has worked in great ways here in Portland over the last month! To start was the restoration of Justin & Angelina Moore! They were converted in Bakersfield, but sadly fell away and moved to the desert (literally) in Nevada both physically and spiritually! But everyone has their limit and they hit theirs!The Moores came to Portland with a glimpse of hope and God pulled them through!!! That very day they locked down a job and home!!! If that weren’t enough, their repentance caught the eye of their 16 year old daughter Jade, and she began to study the Bible! The Moores were restored and they then were able to baptize their daughter into Christ! The spiritual family was able to unite this wonderful physical family!

I’m writing this on my drive back from LA having witnessed many miracles, including the Holy Spirit sending off the Manila Mission Team! My husband Jason sends his greetings from Santiago, Chile as he also witnessed a miracle with the wedding of Emilio & Tatiana Bonilla!

USA SOUTH QUADRANTMike Patterson: “In those days when the number of disciples was increasing…” (Acts 6:1) In the first 18 weeks of 2015, our God has blessed us with 19 amazing baptisms and one awesome restoration!Recently God moved in a mighty way as we decided to have a Bring Your Neighbor Day on April 19th right before the end of the University of Florida semester. God still gave us our highest attendance ever (outside of the Campus Conference) of 120 at service! Two of the visitors were Jason on the University of Florida Baseball Team and his girlfriend of four years Josslyn, who is a telecommunications major focused on sports media! They were so broken by the sin God exposed in their lives that they broke-up and surrendered to God their future! In tears, they both shared how grateful they are to be in God’s Kingdom! Jason already has a dream to lead in the church!

The Green Family is now complete… With four sons, three of whom are married, they are all faithful and now with Carrie’s baptism, all the wives are as well! What a modern day miracle to see this entire family united in Christ!

is made one in the Lord!In addition, the Lord truly has received glory for Himself in our weekly contribution! A few months ago, the Orlando Church was still feeling the effects of sending out two mission teams early in 2014, as 33% of our membership had been sent out… And this made our finances a bit rocky! We rallied together in November, looked at the facts and realized the facts meant nothing with faith!So we decided that we had to change the situation for the glory of God and well… to pay the bills! Our average giving at that time was under $1,900/week. After seeking the Lord, much preaching, and deciding to live by faith in obedience to God’s Word, our contribution in under two months grew to $3,200/week by mid-January! And we have maintained that! We are praying for an abundant harvest for our Special Missions Contribution coming up on June 14th! Not only did we see three baptized, but God has blessed us with much fruit on the vine as our International Sunday brought in 79 for church – the highest attendance since our Inaugural Service! Tracy & I are so very encouraged by the vigor and commitment of the DC disciples! In the midst of raising money for Special Missions and the transition of leadership, we have seen eight people baptized in the last five weeks!So special was the last baptism, as Chris Bradley – a personal trainer – who made Jesus Lord after attending for nearly six months! Chris had “prayed Jesus into his heart” and had gone through the ritual of baptism. However, he did not repent of his sins and never had a clear conscience. (1 Peter 3:18-21) His family was so impacted and I was so proud of our young brother Brian (also a fitness trainer) who was just baptized three weeks ago who sat in most of the studies with Chris! Now both of our new physical fitness trainers are also spiritually fit!

We saw Stockholm Mission Team members arriving one after another literally“from the ends of the earth.” Our team includes seven Swedish Citizens, seven Estonian Citizens, one Finnish, one Lithuanian and one British Citizen and three of our team members are also Citizens of the United States!

RUSSIAN COMMONWEALTHZhenya Sobolev: Privet from Moscow! The Spirit took our dear leaders – Oleg & Elena Sirotkin – to strengthen the church in Kiev, but in spite of this God added three precious souls to our number by the waters of baptism in April!On April 5th, we saw the baptism of Bolat – a single from Caucasus! Incredible story: He was invited first in Kiev two years ago, studied the Bible in Ukraine, then moved to Moscow, and finally got baptized!

Let’s welcome Tatiana into God’s global family!And finally, on Sunday, May 3rd, we witnessed the baptism of Evelina – a mother of five children who studied the Bible for two years! Interestingly, her mother is a professional singer in the Orthodox Temple so Evelina was raised in the Orthodox tradition. But she totally “forgot all her past” and became a true Christian!

AFRICA & THE CARIBBEANBlaise Feumba – the Overseeing Evangelist for French-speaking Africa: “The Word of God kept on spreading; and the number of the disciples continued to increase greatly in Jerusalem…” (Acts 6:7) April has been another fruitful month in our sister church in Kinshasa as nine more souls were added to the Kingdom of God!

Dax “knocked the devil out” by being baptized into Christ and His church! Amazingly, he has not lost a single fight since the beginning of his professional career in 2010!

bearer and friend, Lola Lof!Jonathan Panossian: “But God will never forget the needy; the hope of the afflicted will never perish.” (Psalm 9:18) While on a ten day mission trip to Haiti with Blaise & Patricia Feumba, I personally witnessed the true depths of poverty that would shock the conscience of any disciple! After traveling to the cities of Port-au-Prince, Duclair, Jacmel and Mirebalais, I saw a devastated and broken country whose people are desperate for hope and a future.

with all the disciples in Haiti!Disease and famine are rampant throughout the country; people resort to drinking polluted water to avoid extreme dehydration from living in a tropical climate; and the basic needs of food and shelter are beyond the reach of the vast majority of the Haitian people due to the very high cost of living.

river greatly endanger their health!I came back to the United States of America with a heavy heart after listening to the stories of three disciples: Anel Magoffy, Brunson Saint-Vil and Cylene. Anel lost his business and home after the 2010 earthquake. He now lives with his wife and three children inside of a tent unable to recover from the chaos after the destruction caused by the earthquake. They walk seven miles one way to attend church!

Mary (right), but the five people on his staff!Lastly, Cylene was lying on the floor of her home in extreme pain as she was dying from cancer with no possibility of receiving any medical attention. She finally passed away last week as the Lord decided to take her into glory and shortened her extreme pain! These are just a few stories of the pain and suffering the disciples of Haiti are going through.

our Father in Heaven!But among all the hardship and ruin, God’s glory is shining and healing so many hearts and lives as the gospel of Christ is being powerfully preached! 19 souls have been added to the Lord’s Kingdom during this trip, and among them two more preachers! After the baptism of Louisius Exilien, a pastor of a Pentecostal church in Mirebalais, ten members of his church including his incredible opinionated wife Mary became disciples after only two long days of Bible Studies!The following day, Blaise, Patricia and Alexis Turgeau studied with another amazing preacher, who like Apollos was well versed in the Scriptures but needed to be taught more accurately the way of the Lord! Brunson Saint-Vil’s and his wife Mary Acefie were baptized and with him seven other members of his congregation who are now with us in Port-au-Prince!

Christian Church!Amazingly, only 20 months after the baptism of the former Mainline Church of Christ Preacher, Alexis Turgeau, at the 2013 GLC where he was baptized as a disciple, we now have 149 sold-out disciples in five churches in five cities in Haiti! Pray as 17 of them are former preachers who like Apollos have been taught “the way of God more adequately.”(Acts 18:26) The disciples of Haiti are keeping hope alive!NEWS FLASH – Nick Bordieri, the President of MERCYWORLDWIDE: Cholera, a bacterial disease that can cause diarrhea and dehydration, is most often spread through the ingestion of contaminated food or drinking water. Since the beginning of the Haiti cholera epidemic in October 2010, there have been over 750,000 cases treated and over 8,700 deaths! Cholera remains a deadly threat to the general populace of Haiti.

It was amazing to host Emilio’s father in the faith, our dear brother and leader of the Mighty San Francisco Church, Jason Dimitry, as well as Emilio’s dear sisters, Erica and Mercedes, and Emilio’s friend Ryan Casarez! It was a very heartwarming wedding as we saw the power of God moving through world evangelism. Tatiana’s mother, Paulina was converted in Santiago as a single mom when Tatiana was only four years old! Later she married Miguel, who was one of the missionaries who planted the church in Chile from Argentina back in the ICOC days! Tatiana grew up as a “Kingdom Kid” and became a disciple in the Teen Ministry!

PACIFIC RIM & AUSTRAL-CHINARich Tabizon: As the now 51 disciples of the Metro Manila Remnant Group prepares to welcome the Mission Team, it is important to note that we have been about our purpose! During the month of April, God has allowed us to set new weekly attendance highs and add more than we have ever added in a single month! Our Easter Sunday Service had 122 in attendance with one baptism and two restorations! However, God was not done, for in the following weeks, we witnessed two more come to be restored and one additional baptism for a total of six April additions!

Our Annual International Day was a lot of fun with food, national costumes, and this year with Dean “The Machine” Lam from China preaching alongside Kavindu, who is from Sri Lanka, as well as Mason from American Samoa! Dean’s first service was only last year at our very first International Day! Little did he know then that despite not believing in God, he would be preaching about how to believe in God at the next one! This was all on the back of seeing Chidera being baptized the previous week, who is Australian from Nigerian descent!

celebrating at International Day!As if this was not enough fun for one day, we had our first engagement as a church with Lennox Tweneboa setting out a treasure hunt around Sydney for his girlfriend Kiera Walker, only to end up at the steps of the Opera House to see a giant box wrapped as a present, which Lennox was hiding in! Once she opened the present, Lennox got down on one knee to propose! Then a crowd of 100 friends and family came around from behind the Opera House to surprise and congratulate the happy couple!

And all the people were amazed.” (Mark 5:18-19) Yahweh has done great things for the Honolulu International Christian Church! Already He has added two more baptisms to the Westside of the church this past month! Most lately, He has added Ene Faima, who comes from a past of violence and corruption.It was awesome to see the brothers Joe Santos, Phil Kelly, Daniel Dias and Chris Teves work together as a team to bring Ene to “the knowledge of the truth!” Also great was to see about TWENTY-FIVE (25) of his family members and friends there at his baptism as the sun was setting at Tracks Beach in Nanakuli! As well, he had around 12 of his closest friends at the baptism, who come from a similar background as Ene, and they witnessed a man become “dressed (clothed with Christ) and in his right (righteous) mind.” I think some of them were afraid as they witnessed the miracle of his change and are interested in studying the Bible! We can see that Ene has already “gone home” to tell his people about “how much the Lord [has] done for him!”

USA NORTH QUADRANT & INDIAChris Broom of New York City: “Consider Him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.” (Hebrews 12:3) Truly, our troubles pale in comparison to that of Jesus and our first century brothers and sisters! However, they do at times challenge our faith!As Easter approached and with newly printed invitations in hand, we were sharing with as many as possible! We were also rehearsing a “big presentation” for the “big stage” at our meeting location! All of a sudden, we found out that we could not use that location and had to find somewhere new to meet! Thanks to Jake Studer (Evangelist of the Toronto International Christian Church), we made new invitations, but we still had no place to meet! So we directed people to our website and once we secured a space, we had to write the address on the back of the invitations! On top of that, the new meeting spot was a lot smaller and had no stage, so we had to postpone the entertainment that we had planned… and many were tempted to lose heart and doubt!As if it couldn’t get any worse, when Easter Morning came, we were locked out and no one was picking-up the phone! Two hours passed! Then, not by chance, but by God, the building superintendent who claims to never go to the building on Sunday mornings, just “happened” to come by and see us! (THANK YOU GOD!) It took some convincing, but after we provided the receipt for proof of rental, he let us in and we rushed to get ready as it was only an hour and fifteen minutes before the first song was supposed to start! What was the outcome? Only our highest attendance ever (219), and three baptisms, all of which had attended our Campus Sunday as their first event just three weeks earlier!
Standing room only at NYC Easter Service!This month, we saw five more campus students baptized from five different universities! Of special note, last Sunday after church, we witnessed the baptism of Jonathan Rosborough – the physical brother of Tim Rosborough of the Boston Church! Jonathan overcame incredible hurdles to be baptized, including quitting cigarettes cold-turkey and seeking the Kingdom first by traveling two hours from upstate New York to make every meeting of the body!Jonathan is a student at St. Francis College in Brooklyn and is making plans to move to Manhattan as soon as possible! We were in Regional Services that day, but through modern technology (Google Hangouts), many of us watched Jonathan’s baptism in Central Park from a Leader’s Meeting in Midtown Manhattan while his brother Tim and a group of disciples watched from Boston! It was amazing as we could all see Tim share with his physical brother Jon all the way from Boston through our phones!

The Brothers celebrate as Jon (third from
the left) is baptized in Central Park!Coltin Rohn of Boston: “You crown the year with your bounty, and your carts overflow with abundance.” (Psalm 65:11) Starting the year of 2015, we had 45 disciples; however, for the first three months of the year, we only had one baptism and one restoration… Repentance was needed! Thank God for His discipling movement and disciples willing to travel to help us! On March 4th, Chris Broom and Roger Parlour of New York City came to Boston and discipled our church to get focused back on the mission! (Luke 19:10)Since that time in the last two months, we have seen 12 baptisms from all around the world! We now have disciples from China, El Salvador, Japan, Korea, Nigeria and Pakistan! And we now have a presence on Boston College, Boston University, Berklee College of Music, Fisher College, Harvard University, Mass Maritime, Northeastern, Quincy College and UMass Boston! To God be all the glory!Of special note was the baptism of Gianni Difusco! After studying the Bible for the past two weeks, Gianni proved his repentance by his deeds. (Acts 26:21) After seeing his own sin, Gianni knew there was a lot of apologies that needed to be made. So Gianni wrote letters to his entire immediate family explaining his sin, feelings, how it must have made them feel, followed by a deep and sincere apology saying he’s so sorry! I was able to be there when he read his letter to his dad Sal Difusco, and it was so great to hear the apologies followed by “I forgive you” from both sides! Truly God has turned the hearts of sons to their fathers here in Boston! (Malachi 4:6)
Gianni rejoices in his salvation!Also of special note is the wedding and send-off of Preston & Shauna (soon to be Inkleys)! The wedding will take place on June 6th! Then Preston will preach a farewell sermon on June 7th before the Inkleys move to the Antelope Valley to serve as the Campus Ministers! I’m saddened to see Preston & Shauna leave as they have become so close to Mandee & me, but we are fired-up to see what God will do through them in LA!

We are family… to the end!Courtney Parlour: In Syracuse, we have been greatly encouraged by God’s desire to save this city! Whether snow or sun, pruning or blooming, we know God is always working! On April 11th, we held an unbelievable Women’s Day at the world famous New York State Fairgrounds! We were honored to have Lianne Kernan come and share her passion, wit and deep convictions with all of the women! Amazingly, 46 disciples had 105 in attendance!

The home of the 2015 NFL Draft and God’s Kingdom! Today was amazing as we held our Annual Women’s Day, entitled CHOSEN with guest speaker Rachel McGee from our sister church in Mexico City! It was truly an honor to have her here as she was able to meet the needs of both our Spanish and English-speaking disciples! God blessed us as 91 sisters had 248 in attendance! Please pray for us to be diligent as we follow up to bring in a great harvest!

God blessed all the prayers for the
Chicago Women’s Day!Since the last Good News Email, we have had five additions – three through baptism and two restorations! Four additions came through family members! Monica through her brother Jorge; Seline through her mother Patti; Melanie (a teen) through her parents Melania & Mario: and finally, Julia the grandmother of four sisters who were baptized in the last five months!Julia came initially to see what all the excitement was as she saw her granddaughters radically change! She had previously studied with Jehovah Witnesses for six years, but was never committed. However, after coming and seeing the “true Kingdom” and studying out the truth, Julia felt that she was, for the first time, truly loved. As a result her daughter, and the mother of our four sisters, asked if she too could study the Bible! I quickly asked if they had any other relatives we could meet!!!

granddaughters at her baptism!Finally we have 11 graduations this month: Seven Bachelor’s Degrees, three from high school who are all going on to college, and finally one of our interns, Sausha, graduated with a Juris Doctorate to practice law! May God be glorified through our efforts as we “rejoice greatly!”Debs Rajan: Vannakkam! (Greetings in Tamil!) “Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts.” (Acts 2:46-47) The disciples of the Chennai Church meet every day to encourage one another and to reach out to the lost! The Lord keeps adding to our number! This last month alone we had 15 baptisms, the highest ever!

miles to make Jesus his Lord!Satish, who is doing his Master’s in Economics from the prestigious Loyola College and also a Professional football (soccer) player, was met by my awesome husband – Raja! The very first Sunday that Satish visited the church, he was impacted by the love of the saints and the powerful preaching of God’s Word! After studying just a short while, he praised God and was baptized!

I am so encouraged by God’s words in Isaiah 51:5,“My righteousness draws near speedily, my salvation is on the way, and my arm will bring justice to the nations. The islands will look to me and wait in hope for my arm!” Indeed, the Philippine Islands are no longer waiting… God has sent His “chosen 12″ on the Metro Manila Mission Team to assault the very gates of Hell!

to those they carry into the Kingdom of Light!The battle for “islands” actually was the spark that ignited God’s new movement in 2006! At that time in Hilo, Hawaii, Kyle & Joan Bartholomew (the young church leaders of the Hilo ICOC) took a valiant stand against lukewarmness and autonomy when they asked Elena & me to disciple them. They sought help to build the same sold-out foundation of disciples in Hilo that Kyle had seen at the 2006 Portland Jubilee! (1 Corinthians 3:11) Though they endured great persecutions from inside and outside their congregation, Kyle – supported by his two younger brothers Evan and Levi – became the “Three Mighty Men” that birthed and built the Hilo and Honolulu International Christian Churches!

Jody a young SBCC campus student, was met by brother and sister Dale and Karyn. They invited her out to our International Day service on campus, she came and soon began studying the bible. Being a young women living in the small college neighborhood of Isla Vista she quickly became enticed and involved in the raging party life and stopped studying the bible. She soon realized a month later that she did not want to be apart of that life anymore. Jody came back to church and finished studying the bible then was baptized on day after Easter.

Elizabeth McDonnell- While all of the women have incredible testimonies, the story of Laura Lewis becoming a disciple really warms my heart because it shows the unity between churches in our movement! Laura was reached out to by Ashley Dunn of the LA Church while she was having coffee all alone. But because of her imminent graduation from FIDM, as well as a weekly commute between LA and Santa Barbara (90 miles each way), she was only able to visit Ashley’s Bible Talk once. After graduation, she moved permanently up to Santa Barbara. That’s when Ashley made sure that I had Laura’s contact info so that she could be reached out to up here! Sure enough, after one meeting with Laura, I just knew that she was going to make an awesome disciple! Then after three months of wrestling with demons from the past, Laura repented and was baptized into Christ on Easter Day! And she has been an incredible addition to our Single’s Ministry!

Good News Email 3-1-2015
Greetings from the sold-out disciples in Moscow, Santiago and Sao Paulo! Indeed February has been a historic and very busy month in God’s SoldOut Movement! On February 1st was the Inaugural Service of the Moscow International Christian Church! 17 Russian-speaking disciples were on the mission team that spent their own money to fly and train in Los Angeles! They were joined by 33 disciples in the Moscow Remnant Group, giving us exactly 50 workers for the Lord! On the day of the Moscow Inaugural Service, there was snow, freezing rain and sustained winds of 30 mph (50 km per hour)! Yet, the Spirit moved powerfully and 50 sold-out disciples had 227 in attendance!

The Moscow Inaugural Service was such a
historic event that even the media
was impressed!Remarkably, in the first 28 days of the Moscow Church planting, there have been 17 additions – six baptisms and 11 restorations!On February 12-15th was the 2015 Central & South American Missions Conference – Por Mi Espiritu (By My Spirit)! Highlights included the Leadership Workshop, the opening sermon by Carlos Mejia – Walk By The Spirit, Raul Moreno’s lesson on Saturday morning – My Spirit Will Bring Justice To The Nations, the Campus Workshop, the Kingdom Banquet and Sunday’s keynote speech by the new leader of the Santiago Church – Alfredo Anuch – entitled, Not By Might, Nor By Power But By My Spirit!

Lance Underhill: “When she and the members of her household were baptized… immediately he and all his household were baptized!” (Acts 16:15, 33) “Impossible prayers” are being answered in the South Region! My wife Connie & I flew to see my ailing mom Barbara Underhill in New Port Richey, Florida. In just one week, with Connie doing an amazing job leading the studies, my mom was baptized!

on to glory!The next Sunday back in the South Region, the Lord put on my heart to preached, “If my 82 year old mom with health challenges could get baptized in one week, what’s your excuse?” Then Jordan Ybarra – the last of the Ybarra Familia – responded after the message, “I have no excuses” and was baptized in less than one week! The whole Ybarra Familia is now united in Christ!

Anthony & Cassidy Olmos, who have done a phenomenal job leading the South, have been called by the Spirit to London to lead the campuses, and prayerfully after that back to Paris, France where they were on the original mission team! As well, we are so proud of Oleg & Elena Sirotkin, who spent two years in the South, and the Moscow disciples for having an incredible Inaugural Service as well as continuing to grow!Blaise Feumba: “In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” (Luke 15:10) Indeed, the Lord has been rejoicing these past six weeks with the baptism of eight more souls in the North Region! The most amazing miracles are the baptism of the remaining three members of the Bedoya Family starting with Lucas, then his mom and his dad: Frank & Mirna Bedoya!

Sweet-E’s is owned by Erica Tucker, a past winner of Cupcake Wars! Originally from Denver, Colorado, Dom rejoiced at the opportunity to overcome the shame and regret of past sins to enjoy the “new life” of salvation! To God be the glory!

new creation in Christ!Chris Adams: The Word of God has been boldly preached over the past few weeks in the Ventura Region! Dave & Jill Swann, our creative, fiery Shepherding Couple and owners of the Hollywood Fitness Gym, planned an Oscar-themed service two weeks ago, replete with red-velvet ropes, a special communion song performed by our amazing band, and an “After-service Oscar Party” with movie ticket door prizes! But what impacted so many was the sermon Dave preached with three Oscar Award Winning Movie titles as his main points. Thrillingly, a Ventura College student, Bree took the simple, yet challenging message of grace and repentance to heart, and she pushed the “do-over button” and was baptized!
Bree signals “Victory” in Jesus!Today, at our Singles’ Ministry-led service, Dennis Sloan preached his first full-length sermon and laid out the truth that repentance is really a change in mind-set, perception or purpose and not the deeds themselves! (Seems the Holy Spirit has that theme picked out for us up here in Ventura!) He preached about three men who lived their lives all about God’s radical love: Moses, Paul and Jesus! It was impossible to deny the miracle of God that has turned Dennis from being a U.S. Army veteran and fighting man to the death, to now saving men from Satan and certain spiritual death!He & Corinna are revitalizing the Campus and Teen Ministries here in Ventura County, as there are many new friends who have come out to Bible Talk, Devo and an Open Mic! Dennis cited news reports about “Christian militia units” streaming from all over the world to the Middle East to eradicate the terrorist group ISIS with guns, not love – which is NOT JESUS! Therefore, every Ventura disciple was challenged to repent and love with a fierce light that will overcome the darkness of this world. Pray for “times of refreshing” to flow-in with the tide of repentance here in Ventura County! (Acts 3:19)

even the “Trash-a-thon” a lot of fun!Cesar Limon: Grace and peace in abundance from the East Region! It was amazing to worship with the incredible Inland Empire and Palm Springs Regions this past week as we had the honor of witnessing the Holy Spirit blow Argo & Anu back to their homeland of Sweden! My wife & I are deeply appreciative for all they have done for us these past three years! God continues to show us His goodness here as we have seen seven souls be baptized in the past three weeks! God has provided amazing workers to take care of His sheep as we appointed six new Bible Talk Leaders this past Sunday which means that Cal Poly Pomona, Mt. SAC, and Citrus College have all doubled Bible Talks!

Campus Ministry Bible Talk Leaders!Wonderfully, we had the blessing of sending five disciples to the Central and South American Missions Conference who all came back inspired and with a greater global vision!! It truly is worth it to “make every effort” to send your disciples to any of the conferences as it will not only change their life but in turn impact your entire congregation!

Missions Conference!At our last week’s Campus Devotional, we witnessed Srbuhi from Cal Poly Pomona make Jesus Lord! Srbuhi was traveling every weekend to be with her family and boyfriend but she took a radical stand and broke-off the relationship and is now committed to staying on the weekends to be with the body of Christ! Very excitingly, she shared that her new dream is to go back to her birthplace of Armenia to save her people!

Sal & Patricia Velasco and their Palm Springs Region truly understands that the goal of a church is not simply to grow, but to send out leaders! It is great to be in the Movement of God!!Krystal Legarda: God has been moving powerfully in Orange County! In the month of February, God has added 10 to our number – seven baptisms, one restoration, and two placed memberships! Excitingly, we actually had an “eleventh” special addition with the birth of Amanda Arizmendi!

From our Riverside Sector we saw April and Benjamin saved through the waters of baptism, and from our San Bernardino Sector, Christian, Mario, Cheyenne, Ingrid and Bre’ana all made Jesus Lord of their lives!

in seven days!Sunday’s service was a “bitter sweet service” as the Inland Empire, the Palm Springs and the East Regions of our City of Angels Church gathered together for an incredible Worship Service to send-off of our valiant leaders – Argo & Anu Arneson! The Spirit is “blowing” them to Stockholm Sweden to prepare for the official planting of the Stockholm International Christian Church being sent out at the 2015 Global Leadership Conference coming up in August. Jesus says in Luke 12:49, “I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!” Argo & Anu have done nothing short of a fantastic job, building a solid foundation of faith, unity and total commitment to God here in our “Windy” Desert Region!Three years ago, when they came to our little region of 28 “somewhat” faithful disciples, they “kindled a fire” of faith that has transformed “the IE” into what we know it to be today! It was only fitting that we sent them off giving them our customary “IE Torch Trophies” in remembrance of the “fire” that has been “kindled” here in the Inland Empire while symbolizing the “fire” that will be “kindled” in Stockholm!

First off, the whole church has been working hard at bearing fruit and we’ve had five baptisms in five weeks – three SB City College students, one UCSB student, and one single professional!

Family members of the converts here are also getting baptized: one brother baptized his whole family (two brothers and his parents) out in the North Region of LA, and another baptized his uncle in the newly planted San Bernardino Sector of the City of Angels Church today!

engagement with SBICC!One baptism that we want to highlight happened today, and that was Noé Garcia! A disciple here in Santa Barbara, Brian Lin (who will Lord willing join the Hong King Mission Team), was so fired-up to have five solid commitments to our International Sunday Service. But the day before service, all five of them cancelled on him.Sad and discouraged Brian called Richie to ask what he should do. So Richie told Brian to not get discouraged and pray that God will give you someone to bring. So Brian prayed, and then texted his lab partner, Noé, from over a year ago to invite him. Little did he know that that night Noé prayed to God asking, “What is my purpose? Please show me why I’m here; there must be more to life than this.” After praying, he immediately received Brian’s text and knew immediately God was calling him! And today, he was baptized into Christ finding the true purpose for his life!

that he will be a big brother!David Green of Las Vegas: The month of February was truly “the month of love” for the Las Vegas Church! God gave us three baptisms, one restoration and two engagements! One of the blessed couples was Jonathan Pedraza & Bree Rangel! As well, Joel Serna & Erin Fruithof had the opportunity to attend the incredible CSA Missions Conferencein Chile, where they were engaged!

Congratulations to Joel & Erin!Princeton George’s dad, Mark George, was restored to the Lord and the Las Vegas Church on February 14th (Valentine’s Day)! Then followed the baptisms of Anthony, Isaac and Raven that same day!

George – back with their Father in Heaven!Perhaps the story that touched me the most was the conversion of Isaac & his wife Raven! As many of you know our evangelist, Victor Sr. & his wife Sonia Gonzalez were baptized when they had nine children, their youngest being two months old! Similarly, Isaac & Raven have nine children, their youngest daughter only being two months old! Isaac & Raven started studying the Bible with Victor & Sonia a few weeks ago, but the Friday before the Sunday of what we hoped would be their baptism, Isaac backed down from studying.Despite Isaac’s pride, God was obviously working in his heart. He downloaded The First Principles App and went through all the studies with his wife Raven. Saturday morning February 14th at 6:00AM, Victor received a call from Isaac saying, “We get it! We’re ready to be baptized!” Their eagerness was so evident that Victor cancelled all his plans for Valentine’s Day! Instead Victor & Sonia spent their Valentine’s Day studying the Bible with Isaac & Raven and baptized them that night at 11:00PM!
There’s no better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day, than showing our love to God! Please pray for Isaac’s oldest daughter, Tianna, who may be baptized this coming Sunday! To end off this “month of love,” Jonathan Pedraza proposed to Bree Rangel and she said yes! It’s truly amazing to see the miracles in the Kingdom of God!
Jeremy Ciaramella of Phoenix: Greetings from the Valley of “The Son!” In 1 John 2:14, the Word of God says, “I write to you, fathers, because you have known Him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you are strong, and the Word of God lives in you, and you have overcome the evil one.” How powerful it was to see a young man “overcome the evil one,” “become strong” and have “the Word of God [living in him]!”
This Sunday, we saw this Scripture fulfilled as Jarod Piercey was baptized into Christ and joins our newly formed “Young & Faithful” Teen Ministry! His “big” sister, Destiny, was baptized in November of last year.
Sharil shared very vulnerably about how her son got so depressed that he was struggling with suicidal thoughts, and how God worked through our Campus/Teen Intern, Marvell Holder, to save his life spiritually and maybe even physically! Rod, Jarod’s father, shared his joy and vision for his son, and how today Jarod was “honoring his true Father… and me as well!” Jarod shared honestly, and with a sincere gratitude for all those who loved him and helped him come to this point – he was especially grateful to God! Tears streamed down many faces today, and even mine now as I write remembering this miracle!

gather to celebrate!God continues to answer our prayers, as we prayed for a record-breaking Bring Your Neighbor Day. God blessed us as we beat out our old record with a new one of 201! Our God moved hearts during our Pledge Drive and the church is now giving over $4,300 a week! The church has also given almost 20% for early Special Missions! How amazing it is to be in the Kingdom of God to see and share in His purposes and miracles! To God be the glory!HEADLINE NEWS – USA NW QUADRANT & CANADA
Jeremiah Clark: The last three weeks have been truly amazing in the Denver ICC! Last week, we were able to have our First Annual Marrieds Retreat entitled, All Of Me. It was one of the most impactful and refreshing Marrieds Retreats that I have ever participated in! When we came to Denver about a year and-a-half ago, we only had five married couples, and so to have nearly 20 couples at our first retreat was simply inspiring!

Denver’s Marrieds Ministry is on fire for the Lord!Secondly, we were able to see an amazing single brother Ryan Sturgis restored to the Lord! The changes that he has made have been so evident and impactful that his parents decided to come to our Marrieds Retreat! His father has even started studying the Bible!Lastly, some good news that absolutely fills my heart with joy to share with each of you is that I was able to fly to Oregon and visit the Mighty Eugene Church! There I was privileged to baptize my brother Brent Clark into the Kingdom of God! I remember the words of Jesus, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.” (Mark 10:27) Baptizing my brother was truly a 17 year “impossible prayer” answered! To God be all the glory!

I’m getting so excited about the 2015 Global Leadership Conference, which will be held at the Anaheim Hilton (777 W Convention Way in Anaheim) in sunny and beautiful Southern California! The Pre-Conference activities such as the World Sector and Crown of Thorns Councils start on Tuesday, July 28th; The Church Builders Workshop is Thursday, July 30th; and the Main Conference begins Friday, July 31st! We will close out on Sunday, August 2nd with an incredible worship service as Lord willing, the Spirit will send-out the Stockholm and Sacramento Mission Teams!Of all the encouraging news in Toronto, I am most encouraged by the recent send-off of our brand new Calgary Remnant Group to be led by our very own Narciso Family! Jun & Michelle became so close to all the disciples while they were here for six months of training and encouragement. There was not a dry eye in the house as the church sent them off to break new ground for God’s modern day movement!

The month of February has been outstanding as we have been able to maintain weekly additions in the church since October! God is working as the church has been able to expand not only numerically but geographically as we started a new Bible Talk in the Northeast led by Richard & Khanni Caoile, long time veterans in the church! Encouragingly they already had their first addition this last Sunday!
Of our four additions in this month, of special note is Sharon Crilly! Sharon has been coming out to church ever since Coleen & I moved to Portland almost three years ago. Her sharing was powerful as she quoted Mark 9:23, “‘If you can?’ said Jesus. ‘Everything is possible for him who believes!’” There have been many pains of the past that she has had to overcome, but Sharon’s life truly shows us that Jesus can fix anything! She was so excited for her baptism that she started laying herself back into the waters, anxious to have her sins wiped away and receive God’s Spirit!

Mike Patterson of Gainesville: “He will turn the hearts of the parents to their children, and the hearts of the children to their parents…” (Malachi 4:6) In the first nine weeks of 2015, God has allowed us to see 10 baptized into Christ! One of the highlights for me was seeing the baptism of Paul Wessels! God brings families together to be united in Christ! Paul is the father of our newly paid intern Jacob Wessels, who was our first University of Florida baptism last year! Jacob’s family is from the Catholic faith… his mom even teaches at a Catholic school! For months, Jacob earnestly shared his faith about the truth of the Bible and brought his family to church. His mom Gloria was baptized last year in November, and excitingly Paul was baptized at the beginning of February! Paul & Gloria have become “parents” to the GICC and are extraordinary servants!

are now united in Christ!With the growing rate of new Christians, we decided to seek out more interns who could train with us to become effective workers for God! (Matthew 9:37-38) We had an informational meeting last Sunday for those that might be interested. We then requested those that were interested to become “unpaid interns” to participate in a “leadership campaign” where they shared their faith as much as they could with the goal being 50 a day! I was so moved by the passion and desire of so many newer disciples who want to lead in the Kingdom.
Future leaders in the Kingdom of God!Today we announced officially our 16 unpaid interns and our three full-time paid interns: Jacob Wessels, Yinet Montesino and Amelia Gomez! Now as unpaid interns, these courageous disciples will have daily goals of sharing their faith with 20, while the paid interns have around 50 depending on the tasks given each week during our training night on Sundays. Everyone is so fired-up to do this! Our vision is to raise up an “army of interns” that in the future can go into the full-time ministry and help God’s movement evangelize the world.Two of our unpaid interns, Ben & Christina – who lead one of the LIFE Groups/Bible Talks at UF recently had 16 visitors out – just started dating at our Campus/Singles Valentine’s Party!

Campus Conference!Tyler Sears: “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” (Isaiah 43:19) Greetings and “Howdy Y’all” from Dallas-Fort Worth! 2015 has certainly been a “new” year for the church as we are transitioning disciples from Dallas to Arlington. During this time, the sisters in Dallas reached out to a young, talented woman who studies at Southern Methodist University – Janay. Thanks be to God that after some time she “perceived” God’s will for her life and she was baptized last Friday! We believe God is going to use her to help many students at SMU become true disciples and to see a “new” beginning take place!

Janay is the first SMU student baptized!Lastly, we would like to thank everyone for their continued prayers for the church and ask you to keep praying for us as we have our First Annual Women’s Day this coming Saturday! All of the women have been working so hard and are very excited to have Helen Sullivan come speak! We are so grateful to be in this battle together and to be able to see all the great “new” things God is doing around the entire world through His movement!Matt Sullivan: “But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Although the last three weeks have been challenging due to the pruning yet loving hand of God, He has surrounded the Orlando disciples with His protection and guarded us as with a shield! Even through this pruning time, the Lord gave us weekly additions again in February! Amazingly, Lance Underhill was able to study with and baptize his mother, Barbara down in Tampa; Kacie (Comisford) Fligor was blown by the Spirit to be with us; and others were baptized!
One very special account is of Ashley Bryan who was met over a year ago by our fired-up Gainesville sister, June “the Baptist” as we call her… and then for a year Kiki Dudley of Orlando followed up with her. Once Ashley finally came on out, she was blown away by the love of the disciples and the hardline call to follow the Bible and not the “teachings of men!” She is now your fired-up sister in the Lord and already has her friends coming out to church and Bible Talk!

Congratulations to Marcel & Tia!Anthony Eckels: Houston continues to grow in number on Sundays, with almost 80 in attendance for several Sundays in a row! The AMS Bible Talk of five is averaging 25 in attendance and had their first AMS baptism, Rayshaurn Davis, a very talented artist! Ray Cholard prayed the day he met him that he would meet someone that was sincerely seeking God. After Ray prayed, he got out of his car to walk to Midweek Service. The first person he saw as he looked up was Rayshaurn, so he invited him to Midweek. He came to Midweek and immediately began studying the Bible! Rayshaurn was baptized the following Sunday!

William Davenport along with many others met her and when Chantelle Anderson asked her if she wanted to study the Bible, she said she would love to study every day! She had been praying to know God better and eagerly studied daily and was fired-up to get baptized last week! She is married and has a beautiful daughter!
Megan is a great addition to the Houston ICC!Last, but certainly not least, on Saturday, we had our Women’s Day,Confidence Within! The sisters had three to one visitors to disciples who were very inspired by our guest speaker, Shay Sears from Dallas ICC! Shay shared how true confidence comes from God alone! With many prominent professionals and college students in attendance, people were blown away by the program! Elizabeth Eckels, Heather Schmidt and Chantelle Anderson shared their very different testimonies, which were phenomenal!

Paul writes,“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.” (Romans 1:16) The power of God moved at the end of 2014 as Jalissa a former “Kingdom Kid,” was met on the streets of London and was baptized into Christ! Despite many satanic attacks on her faith, she invited her sister Lauren, who was actively living a lesbian lifestyle, to witness her baptism. Miraculously Lauren began studying the Bible, breaks up with her girlfriend, and is baptized into Christ! Truly the Gospel has the power to break the satanic chains gripping His people!

Teddy lives in West London and has been dubbed the “Eritrean Eunuch” given his willingness and urgency to be baptized! He also recognizes that his spiritual father Laurie Vaher (an original mission team member of the London Church planting, and now on the new Stockholm Mission Team) will leave him next week, but that has not stopped him from rejoicing! (Acts 8:39)

Also top scientist Arni Sicam also from Amsterdam, has been offered a job at University College London currently ranked fourth in the World University Rankings! God’s Spirit is moving powerfully!And finally, this past Sunday, we baptized Lithuanian campus student Richard! Richard has received heavy persecution given his atheistic background, but emphatically declared “Jesus is Lord” after an electric Campus House Church Service!

baptized this Sunday!Please say a prayer for Westminster University, as we now have a Bible Talk here! This is of course where “Jihad John” went to school. God has made it clear that campus ministry is where we must focus as a movement! Sadly, it has emerged that the University’s Islamic Society ran a Facebook page up until 2012 on which students posted violent Jihadi videos. In 2007, the former president of this violent group was convicted of terrorist offense after being caught with a blueprint for a rocket! We of course will be on this campus this week sharing our faith knowing that the Gospel has the power to save the most violent enemies of the cross! God is with us! Nick Winn of Gordon’s Bay: Greetings from South Africa! I would like to share about a restoration. Shon Sansom was baptized in 2004 and moved cities. She went through a tough divorce and really questioned God. In 2012, we met at school where Shon is the financial manager. We studied for over a year and-a-half where Shon was always eager to help reach out to many of her friends! After counting the cost this past week, Shon was restored on Thursday and overjoyed by God’s patience and forgiveness and mostly His undying love! We now are praying for Shon’s son and daughter to prayerfully become disciples soon!

J’burg at the end of March!Amadou Sountoura of Abidjan: “Don’t you have a saying, ‘It’s still four months until harvest?’ I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.” (John 4:35) The fields are indeed ripe in Abidjan with the baptism of six new disciples in the past five weeks! God added to our number Chantal, Eliane (a police officer), Eva, Denise, Fofana and Roland!

and protect” the flock!We are all excited to host the First Annual African Missions Conference on the last weekend of June this year! Won’t you come join us?Blaise Feumba – the Overseeing Evangelist of Haiti: “The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in deep darkness a light has dawned.” (Isaiah 9:2) Just 18 months ago, Alexis Turgeau – a former Church of Christ Preacher – was baptized during the 2013 Global Leadership Conference! We were far to know that through him the Lord was bringing a “great light” on the entire Haitian nation! From one man, the Lord has multiplied the number of disciples to 135 and four churches in Haiti in only 18 months! Of note with the baptism of our new sister Rose Milka in Jacmel in February, the Haitian Churches have had 40 baptisms and two restorations in the six months since the 2014 Global Leadership Conference!

thriving Teen Ministry!Lola Lof of Kinshasa: “‘My food,’ said Jesus, ‘is to do the will of Him who sent me and to finish His Work.’” (John 4:34) Greetings from the Democratic Republic of Congo! In spite of a severe political unrest where we witnessed over a hundred people killed in Kinshasa last month, the Kingdom of God kept growing with four more additions! Thomas – a police officer – and Pamela were restored in their walk with Christ!

light after her baptism!HEADLINE NEWS – CENTRAL & SOUTH AMERICAJared McGee: Saludos desde la Ciudad de México! (Mexico City!) February was an incredibly inspiring month! We had two baptisms just hours before heading-off to Chile! We were so humbled and inspired to arrive in Santiago and participate in the 2015 Central and South American Missions Conference! Our gratitude goes out to the Mejias and the Mighty Santiago Church for hosting this Spirit-led and Spirit-filled event, which served greatly to further propel the missions efforts all over Latin America! Upon our return to Mexico, we went to work straightaway and today a blow was struck to the walls of Hell as Stalin Machiavelli Velasco was baptized through the efforts of the Campus Ministry! He has an interesting name, but a heart of gold for God and wants to make many more disciples at UNAM! To God be the glory!

Carlos & Lucy Mejia did a magnificent job leading this celebration which focused on evangelizing all of Central and South America! We had over 30 disciples from São Paulo that attended this amazing event!Equally as exciting, was the visit of the McKeans to São Paulo after the Conference to give us great inspiration and direction!
Of note, our last two baptisms were Tuler and Marcos! Tuler works for the Air Force and Marcus is an Engineering student at USP University! We love you with the love of the Lord!

For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told.” (Habakkuk 1:5) Saludos de Santiago de Chile! Our Third Annual Central and South American Missions Conference was “utterly amazing!” God surpassed our dreams and expectations for this historic event with a total of 331 in attendance including 85 brothers and sisters from Brazil, Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia and the USA! We want to thank all of the disciples for sacrificing so much to be a part of and witness what God, through His Sprit, is doing in Latin America!Our theme, No Es Por El Poder, Ni Por La Fuerza, Sino POR MI ESPIRITU (Zechariah 4:6) was certainly the tenor of our conference! The Spirit could be felt in the fellowship and in every lesson, song and prayer that was uttered throughout the conference! I would like to share some of the highlights with you!

The 2015 CSA Missions Conference was
the best… yet!Our opening night was simply fantastic as we were all inspired by the Audio/Visual/Live Performance presentation of “The Story of The Kingdom” which took us through the Old Testament all the way to 2015! This section culminated with a Parade of Nations as each country was represented by a disciple wearing a sash bearing the name of each country in Latin America. This brought tears to our eyes as we dreamed and visualized Jesus’ dream for all the world!
The breath-taking Parade of Nations!Immediately following, our awesome leaders Kip & Elena shared powerfully, as only they can, about the Good News of the Kingdom All Around the World!We had amazing preachers and teachers from many of our churches who inspired us with their convictions and their lives. Our Kingdom Banquet was one never to forget! We shared in a traditional Chilean “Parillada” which included some mouth-watering steaks and a “tres leches” cake for dessert!

Because of this, we are happy to announce that in 2016, the CSA Missions Conference will be held on February 11-14, 2016 in Santiago! The title is simply: Para Dios Nada Es Impossible (Nothing Is Impossible For God). (Luke 1:37) I want to encourage every SoldOut Movement Church to send delegates to the conference… it will be life changing!Finally, I would like to share that in the first nine weeks of the year, God has given us 12 additions! This week, Mabel – a beloved and recently restored sister – baptized her teen daughter, Sofia! Also our dear campus sister and “Kingdom Kid” Tatiana Gonzalez was engaged to an amazing brother and awesome intern from the San Francisco Church – Emilio Bonilla!

Joe Willis: Greetings from Sydney, Australia! It is great to have Jolisa with us for four months from the dynamic New York City Church! Jolisa is studying here and amazingly God arranged for her to be staying in halls just 20 yards from where our church meets! She is now leading the University of Technology Bible Talk with me! Also, we are grateful to the Mighty Eugene Church for sending us Jenna, who has made an immediate impact with her zeal!

Teigan was our very first baptism in the Sydney Church, and Sean – who came with us on the mission team – was one of the disciples who invited her along to Bible Talk on Macquarie University. Now they lead the Macquarie Campus Ministry together!

To celebrate Chinese New Year (2.19.15), we had our first Chinese Church Service as Dean “The Machine” Lam preached his first full sermon! Astoundingly, Dean did not even believe there was a God this time last year!

Dean “The Machine” Lam!The day was made complete by watching the Chinese New Year celebrations in City Centre, showing just how many Chinese nationals that God has brought to Sydney for us to harvest!We are so privileged also to have Jeremy & Ros Beck of Honolulu join us in Sydney! They have moved with their three young children to specifically go on the Hong Kong Mission Team! Jeremy gave up a very good job; they sold everything; and came on faith, as they only had a student visa for Ros! Yet in three weeks, God has blessed their faith and sacrifice, as they now have a house, furniture and Jeremy starts a new job on Monday! This takes the HK Mission Team to nine… and counting!

God allowed us to restore Jody Lally and Robert Kealoha, bringing them back to our “Hilo Ohana” and watching them flourish in their relationships with God!

Since the beginning of the year we have added six precious souls, the last being Lacoya – who was joyfully baptized this last week!

Lacoya joyfully confesses, “Jesus is Lord!”16 months ago, my son was sexually abused by his teacher, which made worldwide news. “Now I want you to know, brothers, that what has happened to me [and my son] has really served to advance the gospel.” (Philippians 1:12) Through our responses to other abuses in the community, our House of Representative Delegate, Eric Luedtke, asked me to help him develop new legislature which will prevent abuse, protect victims, and have more appropriate consequences for abusers and those who don’t report abuse as required by law.

interviewed on TV!Proverbs 22:6 – “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.” The Lord provided a technological miracle on Sunday! Last month, I decided to have Eric Chapman preach on March 1st. To our surprise, Eric Chapman got to “PREACH THE WORD” on Honoring The Lord, the same day that his son Terrence was restored in our New York City Church! We interrupted Eric Chapman’s sermon to allow him, Jacklin and the entire congregation watch literally thousands of prayers from hundreds of people come true through our partnership with the NYC Church. We watched his restoration through Skype by projecting this event on a 250″ screen! The Lord and the technology that He allows us to have in the 21st Century are awesome!

The record cold temperatures and the over 100 inches of snow this year have not stopped the Holy Spirit from His powerful work through these awesome disciples! Since the last Good News Email on January 28th, the Lord has kept us extremely busy! We had an amazing Bring Your Neighbor Day!
Then we combined with Boston, NYC and DC for the Northeast Quadrant Marrieds Retreat! God also added to our number four very powerful baptisms! Recently, by the grace of God, many who had fallen away in the last several years are now coming back to be restored! Our Teen Ministry of three disciples had their second Teen Devotional of the year hosting 27 – of that 19 were their friends! Please pray for the harvest of baptisms and restorations that will be added very soon!
I want to share faith-building story of love and perseverance! In the year 2000, George Mak moved to Syracuse to be close to a family member. It was here that he studied the Bible and was baptized! In 2001, he reached out to a long time “girlfriend” of his, Kathy Hanam. After many months of studying the Bible, she too was baptized! George & Kathy started dating and soon after were engaged to be married. Through a rare sequence of events, the wedding was postponed several times and truly tested the faith and patience of the couple. But they stayed faithful to God’s plan and continued to give their whole hearts to God and His Kingdom!

started dating!George & Kathy hold many roles in the church and have for years including being our MERCY Coordinators, George as acting President of the Board, and Kathy has served as the church administrator for many years – doing an excellent job! Since meeting in California they have always dreamed of a “wedding at the beach!” So just two days ago on a cold snowy Saturday, we decorated the hall with a “beach theme,” and so God gave them the wedding of their dreams! And after 13 long years they became one in Christ – George & Kathy Mak!

It wasn’t until this week that the hives subsided and she was feeling a little better under several medications. Unfortunately the doctors still do not know what happened. Seven of our 10 additions were in February, so with our goal of 100 additions for this year, we have 90 more to go! Pray for us to“bear much fruit, showing ourselves to be His disciples!” (John 15:8)

It has been a record setting winter with some of the most snow this city has ever seen! On many occasions the city has even been shut down due to all the storms, but that hasn’t stopped the disciples from being the light of the world!Our first piece of good news is that God has given us an outstanding new place to meet on Sundays! God brought us right into the heart of the city at the Omni Parker House. This is such a nice and historical hotel and all the major public transportation lines are within a five minute walk. It is even where John F. Kennedy proposed to his future wife!

Congratulations to Brian & Jhoally!God has also blessed us with two incredible couples to serve as Shepherds over the church here in Boston! One of the shepherds, Sal DiFusco, has served as an Associate Professor at the distinguished Berklee College of Music for the last 17 years! As he has been totally devoted to the Kingdom, God has been moving powerfully in his life and he was recently promoted to a full Professor! As you can imagine, we are very blessed to have Sal oversee our Music Ministry!We’re also fired-up to raise our Special Missions coming up in May! Already, God has allowed us to raise close to 15% of what we plan to give! Please pray for us as many are close to the waters of baptism! Much love from Boston!
Maria Franklin from Chicago: “Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit; says the Lord Almighty.“ (Zechariah 4:6). We have had an inspiring month as God added four to our number by baptism! Mike was baptized from Morton College; Meaghan from University of Chicago; as well as Ahkeem and Victor in the Teen Ministry!

ChicagoTeen Ministry!Of special note, our dear brother Steve Droblas, a disciple in the DC Church, prayed for his sister Ginger Droblas for 16 years. She was a single mom of three amazing children. In 2007, Ginger was baptized! Then, in 2010, her oldest, Amana was baptized at the age of 14, who was personally fruitful with four women in the last two months! A couple of weeks ago, we all rejoiced as we witnessed Victor, the youngest of the three, also added to God’s Family through the blood of Christ! What an amazing privilege to witness the perseverance of Ginger as a single mom, and all she sacrifices for God and His Kingdom! We can all be so encouraged to see the power of perseverant prayer for our families to come to Christ no matter how long it takes!

sister – Amana – in the Lord!We have had so much fun in the last month with our Annual Church Banquet/Talent Show, our assorted Valentine’s Parties, and finally today, to kick-off the month of March, we had our International Bring Your Neighbor Day and an international meal afterwards! It was so inspiring for the 178 Chicago disciples to have 431 people in attendance today! There were so many visitors and so much incredible food!

Loyola is one of the best colleges in Chennai. Raja, Christopher, Prathap, Maria and Sylvester are a few to mention from this prestigious college! Amazingly, in the month of February alone, we had Joel, Sagar, Stalin, Ashok and Jason become disciples from this same college!

into the fellowship!Finally, we have Monisha, who had given up going to church after seeing the hypocrisy in members’ lives. Betrayed by many, she was depressed and had secluded herself from society. She started to write a book, hoping this would set her free. After publishing her book, she still felt empty and worthless. At this point, Ujen and Shefali invited her to our congregation. She was hesitant to commit herself to God, but the love of the sisters compelled her to trust God one last time. Seeing the transformation in her life, her mom came to meet the sisters and shared her gratitude at the baptism! To God be all the glory!
